What are the add ons or whatever everyone is using that shows the PED amount for loot in the top left corner of the screen and what are they using for the Global and HoF auto SS?
If you run the EntropiaLife client, that can automatically screenshot globals. I also run Fraps (free version) for manual screenshots - eg trade records. The display of loot ped amounts is an in game alternative to the loot window. Sorry I don't remember where I toggled it but I would suggest exploring Options (hotkey O).
Alright. Downloaded Entropia Life. Now that I need to go back in it to change something how do I get to it? How do I get to the background that it runs in?
For loot in to left corner: Options -> HUD -> Disable Loot Windows Regarding Entropia Life. Well it is a program on your computer so you kind of need to alt + tab out of the game and either start entropia tracker or find it in the taskbar if it is running.
Its running in the background. When I try to open it I get the message stating it is alrdy running. I can find it under task manager but still cant actually open the application.
you have the blue Etropia Tracker icon in your "traybar". Lower right set of icons with the clock on your taskbar. Just click that icon.
You need to configure EL to tell it where your chat log is, whether u want to screen capture is etc. There is also a web site where you presumably downloaded the client from, and they can provide help within that site.
Had a Global hit yesterday and when I went to look at the SS that was taken it was completely black. Can this be fixed for the future?
There are workarounds for black screen, depending on your version of windows but you really need to take that up with the developers of EntropiaLIve via their web site.
Looked it up in the FAQ within Entropia Life. Will see if it works the next time I get a global if ever lol. Appreciate the Help KJ! Your so cool!
For black screen, you need to make to run as administrator the launcher.exe and also the Entropia.exe (32 bit or 64 bit) files
To fix the black screen issue: Option 1: You can do this by either going to: Control Panel -> Appearance And Personalization -> Personalization Basic and High Contrast Themes: Change to Windows 7 Basic OR Option 2 Go to (where entropia is installed): C:\Program Files (x86)\Entropia Universe\bin32 right click and select properties on "ClientLoader.exe" Select "Compatibility" tab Under "Settings" press "Disable desktop composition" press apply Both settings does the same, but if you like Aero theme on your computer and you want to maintain it, you should go with "Option 2".
