The description for rings appears to say they don't decay (at this time), but they do. When using any clothing icon-button that was made with "Create Clothing Set", it causes each ring to loose 0.02pec value with each click of the button. So they decay even though the exact same ring is re-equipped each time... This wouldn't bother me if all rings were UL, but for the Limited ones... it bites!!! For those players who have rings & change clothing often, you might consider deleting all clothing set icons. And consider that part of the avatar clothing/equipment system dead to you too. We can still change each piece of clothing 1 by 1. Or maybe find an empty keyboard set and see if we can use it for individual clothing icons??? But until MA corrects this (extremely doubtful) I predict a drop in clothing sales & vis-à-vis mats. Frankly.... If you are not ready to pay that tiny decay, I'd say that perhaps the rings are not for you. For instance: Ares ring. If I shoot 1,000 rounds I'll get 4 hits for free. That's about 1.20 ped. And I tend to shoot 5-20 times that in a day. The savings are big enough to not bother about the equip fee.
The Prophet and Murkalael really do say it best. :biggrin2: But I'll reiterate the issue, with a picture for mr. mulish there... Other Players have discussed (at least with me & especially since my post above) about how the description is wrong. Notice the ring's description does Not say it won't deteriorate "when equipped"... it says "while equipped"... Regardless, Many people got the impression that the rings won't decay at all. Also the rings don't always drop from strongboxes at full TT value, and this has also surprised (and likely annoyed) some players. I too have rings that aren't full TT, which I expected this since I waited for a day. To sum up: in the future (say 2-3 months) it'll be interesting to see if the clothing sales drop at all.

I am a noob and run in boxers most of the time :biggrin2:. I did put on a ring and armor sets and all was fine. So if ring is not part of set I would think it is a bug ? yes ring info should show in item info !
The ring is clothing so yes it should decay every time you take it on or off. Using clothing sets would be a problem for you if you want to avoid all ring equipping decay. So don't use clothing sets if you don't want to take the ring on or off They did promise that clothing decay was going to be removed, but there's no telling when or if that will really happen. You can, however, count on ring decay over time being implemented for all rings as soon as enough people are dependent on them for their game play.

Or you could put Rings in storage and use as needed ? No worry's about decay until you put it on your finger
While being equipped = While wearing The word additional is also interesting; it suggest that decay is already in place. How does the description look on other clothes?
"When being equipped" so put ring on -.02 decay. After that good to go as long as you wear ring. , no decay. Take off ring cost nothing. Put ring back on is -.02 decay again. I hope they were not talking about my ped card So as it is right now as far as I know it's -.02 to put on a ring. Clothing set's are %^^*^ put your rings in storage and all is good Have a great day
