Can't teleport to Arkadia?

I've just start playing... The area where I'm currently located is some novice building with few NPCs, planet posters and teleporter. When I'm trying to interact with teleporter it only shows 3 options: Calypso, Rocktopia and Next Island. How do I start on Arkadia?

 

go to entropiauniverse.com and click on support and explain it. Seems to be a bug at genesis only support can move you down to arkadia.

Yep, relogged already, but it's not in the list. Futhermore, It's not on any of the planet posters

It is not a bug.
From the description it seems you are in Entropia Universe's Genesis, while Arkadia has its own, and you can only enter it through Arkadia Genesis, at least without paying a travel fee. You get there from registering your account on www.PlanetArkadia.com. The procedure is set that way to distinguish the different game mentality from the rest of the Universe, designed from the start to be an autonomous self-sufficient game and not one more planet that depends on the rest to keep its stability.

You should contact support and explain that you wanted to come here in the first place, see if they can move you. If not, you'll need to close that account and register a new one since you're not allowed to have multiple accounts because of the RCE element.

 

Um, Manny, Calypso has it's own starter area as well, the Gateway, which I assume a newcomer goes to after the Entropia Genesis, IF they created the account on Calypso's site. Having never been to Genesis myself I'm not even sure that is where he is, since I would think that would only offer a doorway to the planet the account was created on rather than all of them, and certainly not to all planets except Arkadia as he described? Then again, maybe it offers all planets available, but with the tp cost if not the one you made the account on? Will be interested to hear how it works out Arty, and where you actually were.

You are right... partially. I didn't create an account on Arkadia site. However, I didn't use entropiauniverse.com to create it. After downloading the installer, I made an account in installer's window.

Yep, content for Arkadia is downloaded already. As well as for other planets.

A bit less of suspiciousness, man. Data is being downloaded both by launcher and in-game. No wonder it downloaded some data already :\

Thanks for replies. Support didn't reply yet (~16 hours). I guess I'll just try to delete the account and make a new one.
The bad thing is that I saw a lot of novices in Genesis, and none of them have access to Arkadia.

 

How do I terminate my current account?.. I want to create a new one. On planetarkadia.com this time >.<

see this is exactly the same for me, i got this game last night and i was hoping to hop strait on over and see arkadia, but it just isnt on the list in the new area teleporter. i made my account as advised to do so from the main entropia website after downloading the entire game, (its brilliantly quick) and i cant connect to you gents. which is a big shame because i think this build is the best. im gona have to go back, delete my old account, remake one here and connect now. im tempted to complain to them for not letting us port on over direct it must lose you a lot of lazy newbies out there

You would be best off remaking an account anyhow, MindArk is notoriously slow to fix issues and this probably wont get sorted out for at least another week, if not months.

 

hmm yeah its still not fixed, do i have to go thru support to get my account deleted? its against the eula to make a new account for this so i wouldnt want to break it but if they dont get back to me by tonight il remake it and just ignore the other account

 

You can try at least to contact support and explain the current situation and ask to be moved to Arkadia.
MA is notorious for there speed of solving things (like a grandpa on his knee's on ice) but in the past they where pretty fast in relocating people who had a issue with the location they where.

At least its worth a shot to my idea and you have to contact them anyway if you want to have your current account deleted.

i contacted them yesterday night and this morning (on same post, im not spamming em ) to see if i can get either done but so far i cant even see that its been read, they must be fairly busy =]

im tempted just to keep it open and remake another account if i dont get a response by the time i get home, its irritating because i want to sling myself forward with a £20.00 credit but id rather do that once im on the ground so to speak

and i wont be doing that if i make another account because i dont want to lose it due to a ban for breaking EULA ><
