dense noob mob spawns are gone

please development team, let me know or this is meant to stay or that spawns are comin back in short time

with this density i cant hunt properly and what makes the introduction a big succes is killed by this imo.

greetings from a dessilusioned first day import arkadian.

You gotta admit some spawns were way too dense though. To the point of lagging the game with the sea of red on your radar..

Never had a problem with mobs lagging my screen. ...and I've been in some pretty dense mobs while mining...

big uber spawns were too dense like huon. probably by their wide radar vision

so some spawns were too dense, now all spawns are way too small

so actually, please bring the noob spawns back

I must admit i am not a regular hunter by any stretch of the imagination

But what i dont understand is what is wrong with dense spawns. The only feasible one i can think of is high aggro mobs, then yes dense spawns is annoying, apart from that. Is it not a hunters dream? No useless running around?

As a miner, there are plenty of mob free areas so mobs do not get in the way

    Me confused???

    Any answers?

I liked the dense spawns..Im lazy, and I like to kill fast.
If I liked running I wouldnt carry tp chips, a car and a ship!
Now then..Who culled my Oweko spawn!!?

retun oros spawn to their previous state please. the missions would take too long with the new spawn sizes.

Every hunter should enjoy thick spawns - the thicker the better. Though I do admit the 300-400+ on radar might be excessive (I still loved it), the current spawns are a far cry from the initial supply of mobs. Quite disappointing, and hopefully will be tuned back up.

I liked most of the old spawns but some where too dense you can´t really argue with that. However the new spawns are just annoying. Since the concerned mobs are lowish aggro I would take back the old situation at any time. I think this is a situation where the devs can´t please everyone though... so I just hope they find some nice middleway.

I agree with you in regards that some spawns were a bit to tense (even if i liked it), but that is no reason to wipe them almost completely.

My personal favorite spawn was the wild Huons south of DFB Academy, does anyone know if Huon is meant to be exclusive for the LA's in sanctuary cove from now on? Or if a wild spawn will be implemented again?

Huon sea of red, though convenient to hunt caused significant lag issues for my client. Would prefer not to drop graphics settings. So the change was appropriate there. However it looks like change was overdone a little. Hopefully next patch comes soon and fixes this.

The spawns before were huge! More than needed for sure, because not even huge teams of people could ever wipe them out.... but now the obvious problem has arisen from Oro spawns. They are tiny I would even say. I was excited about blasting through the missions, but now I'm just glad I was near 1200 so I can stop. Bump that spawn back up~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The previous spawns were too dense. The Huons by example caused massive lagg to some (not all) ppl, if you come closer to the spawn. On a team hunt last days no movement was possible for half of our team. Now they are too low at same locations. Give the team some time to figure out a density that will fit most players.

It's great to get everyone's feedback while we work to find a reasonable balance on the spawns. Many were way over the top at launch and were causing server issues and lag for players and so needed to be adjusted down. It's not an exact science to know exactly what the resulting adjustment will do, so it will take a little time to get everything just the way we and you want it. It is a big help when you share your thoughts on a spawn and specifiy where on the map it is (general location is fine - ie north of xx firebase) we can find the spawn easy enough from that.

Regarding the Huon - they are meant to be only on Sanctuary Cove, as such the spawn further south (middle of the continent) was an error (yep we make errors) that needed to be fixed.

suggestion, make all mob spawns lower than level 10 real big.

so imo, very big oro, halix, zadul spawns

high spawns level 9 or 10 till level 30

    above that medium

    very aggressive mobs low-medium

Thats what imo makes lazy hunters happy

then imo you have a good starting point

and the puny spawn could be more dense imo

Are there any puny spawns left?
And if so, where to find them?

Yesterday I ran into a newbie who picked up one of the starter missions and he needed to kill some mob's with his sword.
I could not find any puny for him to kill so he try'd Oro young while I fapped him, the poor dude didn't even damage the Oro.
So puny is really needed to do those missions.

This was at Relentless Firebase Academy.

    Regards,
    Ion

Good to have an explanation, Im not used to this! ;)

I was running around that area looking for them last night, and wondering 'wtf?' and 'where have they gone?'

....then I spent another half an hour in my ship looking..pathetic really, Im like a dog with a bone..

    I gave up....eventually LOL :surrender:

What about scaling noob mobs? Have certain bases with uber dense noob mobs and then scale it down to sparse noob mobs near the main noob spawn points (Academies).

If as stated, there are three main noob spawning academy. Have the young to old mobs start off semi-sparse and have three sets of puny mob spawns. One really dense. Two that are less dense.

Academies and Firebases with a less likely chance of noob players spawning would then have thicker mobs of oro, halix, and zadul.

That way those that have trouble with dense mobs can just find a more sparse mob to hunt at the same level.
