Purpose of IFN ranks? (Oratana Dailies)

Hey, so I just finished the citizenship/IFN membership chain (thanks for the tutorial Lizzy).

So what's the purpose of the IFN ranks? Is there a vendor or something selling stuff based on rank?

Tried searching this forum and entropedia, can't really find anything.

Currently it is all one big gamble, until a later VU we will not know what the rank contributes towards, all you get is a upgraded access card right now. It is possible that something may be discovered at max rank before the VU, but we will have to wait and see.

 

Entropedia is lagging when it comes to updates. Your best bet would be to follow the IFN Mission thread. So far we have no idea what the ranks will lead to.

 

David once talked about it in an interview with Normandie Radio. Their plans were exactly as they are now in game as far as I can remember.

I personally hope it will be a small part of something bigger (que Smuggler mission chain)

 

Ok so we shouldn't expect anything to be done with the IFN ranks? Was hoping it would be something similar to cyrenes dailies with the vendor.

 

Its burried in various forum topics but they DO plan to do more with this, and DO plan to do more with your assigned firebase.
