Intro movie and music

Howdy peeps!

One thing i think Entropia lacks are Intro movies and good background music.

Gives more soul to the games i think.

I personally have the sound turned off when playing. I am either on TS with Soc mates or listening to my own tunes. As far a a intro movie I think that is a great idea

 

Someone always seems to make the "I don't listen" point as if this means no one else does either. Not saying this is the case here but if it isn't someone else will say it before long. Personally, I DO listen however these days not so much... why? Well in the past it seemed each new update of Calypso had some new tunes. These days it seems the BGM never changes and yeh well it gets a little old hat.

All in favour of Arkadia music though. Hopefully it will vary some

As for intro movies, far back in the dawn of time there was one in Project Entropia. It was before my time though.

A movie might get a little old after a time though...? Not sure. But still, we could always skip it and it would be nice to see something while we wait for the game to load.... I used to like seeing the different intro pictures and like the way Calypso at least themes the pic to reflect the most recent content release. I would like to see some competitions though where we can submit screenshots and the best get used... maybe instead chosen pics could go into a pool and what you see is randomly selected each log on? That would keep things fresh.

I'd say put up a little intro movie telling us about the history of Arkadia (the storyline) with the option to never see it again after one time. But that's something MA has to take care of I'm afraid (could be wrong).

 

And IMHO that's great!

Don't like intro movies, especially ones, you can't disable and should watch and listen them over and over and over again :-/

 

I like the idea of a background music, especially if it will be varied and dynamic. I mean music that will switch to dramatic theme when in combat. Of course it should have the option to be disabled for who has slow PC or don't want to listen to it.
