Hello fellow Arkadians, Few months ago i decided to abandon my old life and look for new opportunities in new discovered world in Entropia Universe. Even if i found about this new universe only recently it didn't took long to prepare for long journey. I gather as much currency as i could, change cash to ped, add it to ped card and signed for the ship. They show me chambers and put me to sleep until we arrived near planet Calypso. When i woke up i felt little disoriented and found out that all my skills i gained through education and expirience from previous life have gone. First look on planet itself was beatyful sight and i started to imagine how is life down there and what opportunities for life awaits me there. Will i prosper in science, will i be engineer, or should i become carpenter, politician or even poet. While i was dreaming terrible sound got me back to reality. There was ear-tearing noice, almost inhuman people screams mixed with sounds of ships armor being penetrated and torn apart. People were screaming that we are under attack by robots of some kind. I was forced by soldiers to board escape pod. Pods were launched, there was a lot of shaking during pods flight and in one moment i my pod was hit with fragment of something, cold from space started to cooling pod interior so i fainted. I was revived at some Gateway. Revived, huh? So i wasn't fainted after all, thank God for revive terminals. I bought Quadwing from peds on my pedcard, bought space thrusters, gather some oil and start taxi bussiness with some resource mining and hunting wildlife. However, encounter with cold robotic killing machines with lack of any emotions has made some impact on my mind. I was lucky to survive and those oversized tosters were defeated for now. I was starting to look in stars. Wondering what else can be there. Friends? Foes? Calypso is well defended and robotic threat has starting to fade after last invasion was stoped. After few months on Calypso and learning about my new environment and history of this part of space i learned about Arkadia. About brave, corageous and justified people of this world and their tragic faith. About first scientist and colonist who was in blink of an eye transform to fearless soldiers and valiant defenders of humanity. When i read about call to new colonist to settle on Arkadia and help defend that world from terrible Oratan warriors i didn't think twice. Filled Quadwing with fuel and headed for Arkadia. Arkadia already had friendly community, not large as on Calypso but real nice and helpful people. After some time passports were imposed and of course i "applied" for one. Costs me only 10k of sweat. Few Oratan attack were happend during my stay here. Attacks were so savage and brutal that sight on unarmed civilians and scientist butchered by Oratan filled me with rage. These Oratan are contrast compared to robots. Unlike programed cold killing machines seems like Oratan enjoy in killing other species. Its just impossible not to hate those fiends. So i joined IFN forces. I was fighting Oratan whenever was needed. Strong bond was made between me and my IFN brothers and sisters, same as with other arkadians. As time was passing i was progresing among IFN ranks and at this moment i am corporal. When i think about time i was signed for ship to Entropia Universe i was never imagining i will start military career here. Well, there is some profit fighting for IFN and Arkadia and i am doing right thing. And profit is always good. I am proud to do my part in protecting arkadian society from Oratan threat and to be part of IFN. Still waiting that first Arkadian global to occur. I am sure that will happend soon. This is my story, hope you liked. Also, i hope to read some of your storiess on thiese pages. See you on battlefield... or in Celeste Quarry trading... Or in space when we learned about Oratan homeworld location and bring fight to their backyard...
Hey Daka, Did You actually read the whole Arkadia story ? If so I do salute You (and as only being private I should ). I have managed to go thru first couple of pages so far. So at least I know where the 'Celeste' name is coming from.
Totally worth reading it. I enjoyed reading it so much, that once I finished it... I read it once more - hahaha.

Firebase Valiant Corporal Daka personal log 06:00 standard hours Yesterday was quiet day. There was some Oratan activity in firebase vicinity but they are smart enough to stay away from automated turret defences. So except few turret burst that cut few Oratan who came within range to shred there was no other shooting. After lunch and afternoon drill i was asigned to go to my post which was for yesterday inside HQ where some kind of important briefing should take place. Yeah, yeah, those scientist and officers always have something "important" in their minds, always have something to say. I prefer peace and quiet, but it is not like i have possibility to choose, so i reported for duty in 20:00 standard hours. Sergeant showed me my position so i was standing there and guarding entry. It was clear to me that no way someone would infiltrate in HQ in middle of base but it is standard procedure. It is true what they say about that high-tech barbwire on firebase walls. It is there to keep Oratan, inteligence and common sense out of IFN. Well ok, lets see what is this briefing fuzz all about. About 20:10 all officers took their seats and big wall screen flashed for a second and map of Arkadia appeared on it. On map some areas are marked with red dots, i guess it was places where we had skirmish with Oratan. I recognized few of them and instantly things i wanted to forget comes into my mind. Thank God i survived that battle. While i was flushed those memories away i realized briefing has already started and i missed entry part. I better pay attention about what they say, it might be something important indeed. Small things and knowledge can save lives in combat. Thanks to IFN soldiers and their daily engagments with Oratan not just we are able to keep them bussy and delayed their new offensive we made some breakthrough in our understanding of our foe. Professor Montgomery will elaborate. Professor, please" "Thank you, major. As all of you know, these Oratan have behaving unlike any enemy force humanity has encouneter so far. Even unlike any human army in wars in our violent history... What was i wanted to say... just... give me minute... Ah, yes, yes... About knowledge good major was talking about. We are able to categorize Oratan warriors encountered so far. All of you are witnesses that not all Oratan are same with attitude, weaponry and even places they ocupy. We have intel about categories among Oratan which we gave names Puny, Bandits, Thugs, Vandals and so on. Full list you can download from our database. From start of our clashes with Oratan some questions have arised. They have conquered this world before we decoded Signal. Ancient Arkadians have perish in coflict with Oratan as far as we know. However, we have seen some structures and cultural monuments, left vaults with knowledge about arkadian society but nothing about Oratan civilization. Even if it is true what some scholars saying that there is high possibility that Oratan are scavengers, that they invade planets, exterminate population and plunder planet resources they warriors should have supporting units or workers. Warriors in battlefield, as all of you know, must eat. We never seen anything like rations among dead corpses of Oratan after fights. We never seen Oratan doing agricultural tasks to feed their troops, we don't know where did they come from in these numbers. Our fleet has engage their ships several times, so it is hard for them to bring more troops here and to transport spoils from this planet to they homeworld. We don't know about Olatar whereabouts. All we know about it is it some kind of their governement, bur nothing more. Is it feudal council of greatest warlords, or religious leaders of Oratan, or one absolute leaders with his dukes is uknown to us. According to Signal Knights of Arkadia attempted to attack Olatar but its unclear did their attack failed or they didn't managed to find Olatar. One more questions to be solved is how did Arkadians knew about Olatar? What are we missing here. But, it is not concern of IFN, our scienetist will figure that out, but they need help of IFN. Major, please continue." "Thank you, professor. All right, gentlemen, here is the drill. Professor has spoken about several breed of Oratan. You will see categorized list later. I know you have all suffer greatly in clashes with Oratan, so it is hard from us to ask something like this from you. We need Oratan prisoner for interogation. Don't look me like that, me, like all of you know how brutal warriors they are, we already tried to capture one of those bustards, but he give us one hell of a fight so eventually we had to strike him down. Unfortunately, few good men have fallen in that attempt. Our intel says that Puny Oratan are purely miners, look like Bandits and Thugs are the one who job is to monitor mining activities near our firebases and to give orders to miners. We are preparing action to capture Puny for research because they are not so aggresive. Your job will be to kill as much you can Oratan of higher level , who guard thoise Puny things, you can kill Puny Oratan too, they are in high number, but we suggest to leave them too rookies to sharpen their skills. Dead bodies are to be packed in bags and transported to science labs in all your mother firabases where scientist will do they magic. Of course like before, all loot they have is for soldiers to keep. We have prepared decent amount of universal ammo as a reward for soldiers. You have received orders what area is your to deal with, transfer these orders to soldiers in your command. Dissmised." File reproduction completed... Great, so no more quiet and easy. Oratan headhunt for us. Bright side, this briefing was not long. I prefer hunting 100 Oratan Bandits all over Arkadia than listening those people talk and talk and talk. So annoying. Time for me to go to bed, day was long and i expect very soon i will be called to duty. I hope i will get some sleep and those Oratan will be kind enough not to provoke defence systems to sound alarm during night. Again. End of personal log...
It is couple of days now since i was granted leave from duty. I got few weeks off, so I was thinking what to do. Arkadia is great planet but i wanted to go someplace else, far away from me home on vacation. Since i was kid always during cloudless nights i was staring at stars wondering will I ever visit those places. Of course, all those stars, planets, nebulas and other places worth of visiting are too far for my quadwing so I must pick a closer destination. I remember ad in my pesonal computer about planet called Rocktropia, warm summer sun, good music and lot of fun. Well, music sounds great, so i prepared myself to visit that planet and see what kind of fun can RT offer. Space flight was kinda boring, nothing much to see, so after some time my quad was close to RT atmosphere. Landing sequence is initiated and soon I was landed on RT surface, I picked some kind of parking lot for landing spot. Music was there, and good one, even if I prefer hip hop than rock it was good. Now, first thing to do was to find some place to stay. When I looked around only place that might offer rooms was club Neverdie that was close. So I headed that way. Suddenly, BLP and laser shots sound was all around me. I grabed my Ozpyn LR S1X1 and took defensive position just to found out it was out of ammo. But i wasn't the one that was shot at. Some bikini girls was charging at people and hiting them while people shooting at them. Shocked in first second I realized that girls that was striked down are some kind of androids and several wires and robot parts were disperse all over the ground after they fall. Robots, here? Just great. Those cans will never learn. Man can't even go to vacation without being disturbed by those robotic junk. I run to first trade terminal, bought some weapon cells and joined the party. However, those robots were not proven to be some challenge. Anyway I started to reduce their numbers. They just keep coming and coming. When i was coming here, i spent almost all my PED to buy fuel leaving only around 20 on my ped card. When I examined parts that I looted from metalic wretches and talked to other colonists i found out something interesting indeed. Those robot parts are used by RT residents for crafting some intersting stuff, like amplifier, enhancer and things like that. Besides, some gear was high in demand earlier, and crafters often pay good to get them. So I started robot hunt. PED earning is always good, and mixed with joy of wasting robots, it is a dream come true. Smaller robots, sometime bigger, as a result get nice loot, met some really nice and helpful people on RT who told me how things work there, and manage to sell loot from those robots and my PED card balance started to grow. Not holiday i had in mind when i headed this way, but I really can't complain. Ped card growth is something i will be happy with any time. If i do hunt corectly on every 10 ped spent almost always there is profit, sometime higher, sometimes lower. Few things comes into my mind. Instead of selling all those loot to crafters, maybe I could some day try to craft something by myself. Robot parts that are droped are of various kind and mixed with some RT resources can be combine in some useful stuff. And if I could find that factory where those robots are produced I could steal all their spare parts and make decent profit. Time for exploration. I met few socmembers here so we hunted robots together. Fun times. I have still 3-4 weeks before i must come back to duty so it is not bad to earn as much as I can. I can't have peace and quiet I guess, maybe I will investigate more of the planet while I am here. Apparently, people of this world every evening gather and kill zombies and some kind of oversized undead monkey called Zombie Kong.
