Aakas Instances - Why god why these changes?

    It would be cool to have somes feedback, waiting news for be more active in the gold rush :(

    Dont think we will get more. There is not much benefit. Dev team several times stated things are as they should be. Only thing I havent seen anything official bout is Sal diresh no looting.

    Considering al in al not many statements atm will make things better. Even if they decide to change things back that most likely wont happen before VU and by then GR is over.

    "Not much benefit" ? ....

    Since when in the last 100 years has information not been king?

    Ofcourse there would be benefit to tell the players why a hideous change was made to help people understand the change, This thread is not about (neccessarily) changing back, but to get detailed information on the "WHY".

    That post above borderlines off-topic and sabotage in my book.

    I'm still waiting for official information on the matter!

    Hey I'm all for more info but the last time expected more info I was told "thats it".

    So since they have said the changes were made so that losses were minimised on crashes and instance drop outs (so they can just refund keys if needed and not lost loots) and the loot is 'working as intended'-I dont think there is much else they can say.

    Unless your looking for an admission of screw up or why MA thinks 40% is an acceptable return though I think we both know what the likely hood of that is.

    I'd love to be surprised though.

    If we still were on the old forums U would c im the same in many ways. When something is wrong information is the key.
    But in this situation they HAVE given the information. Maybe not the intell we WANTED but still it was given.
    When the change was made the made it clear we are doing this because THIS WAY PLAYERS WILL LOOSE LESS WHEN THEY DC IN INSTANCES ETC. this was a changed made to help with something thats been a bother to many players.

    Bout the loot they have already stated its working as intended. Even if its horribly bad thats aparently the way its supposed to be.

    So what answer have they not given?
    What question is still unaswerd?

    As stated above the only thing they can do atm to satisfy is prolly to either
    1. Blame MA
    2. Say we are sry but we screwed something up.

    I'm sorry people feel that way, as if this issue has had any kind of enlightening answers, it really makes me doubt alot of things.

    As for what they still can answer, just look at the main post, it's not very hard, an example answer could be:

    "People with too unstable network connections did the instance once every year and got D/C'd so we thought we would lessen their pain the few times they scrape up with a few ped for a Lvl 1 key by doing this change"

    "We received a couple of very angry support cases relayed to us from MA support where customers were venting the loss of ammunition, so we thought we would do this change and see how it goes"

    Now, i hope i'm not putting words into the mouths of any official, but something like the above is almost expected by this time, I've done alot of keys back in the day, and quite a few after the change too, yes i've lost keys both before and after the change, but to be perfectly honest, i hate getting a team DC in the instance more NOW than before the change for the very reason that somehow compensating with 1 key would be "enough" in any way, shape or form, i still went in, i still plowed through mobs, and usually didn't get what i went in for in the first place (Golden key parts, whatever).

    But if a well thought-through answer is too much to ask for in this day and age to get it black on white (or white on black, depending on forum settings), then well, perhaps my trust has been misplaced to begin with.

    It's not unusual for MA to change something for the worse, it has happened so many times I can't even begin to enumerate them, listening to all the wrong support cases filed by all the wrong people.

    Ofcourse normally, support cases and posts (like this thread) are one-sided, you (the company) doesn't hear too much from the players who love things the way they are, you only hear from the few who don't like it, but changing something that works and that is GREAT into a pile of smelling <insert something> just because a few people can't cope is wrong.

    I would expect the stability issues to be handled as a FIX for players losing out on instances, not a total overhaul that ruins the instances for everyone so nobody goes in in the first place. Was that the intent? to make the instances lose their shine? then just lock the frickin door forever and be done with.

    Meh, losing urge to type anything more here, passion is fading.
