Just tried to do two Aakas 09 instances.

The first time I go in, I'm killing a few sentinels, and I'm thinking about putting my music player on, so I alt+enter, and my comp crashes. I'm running on a new HD, so what the heck, it happens. So I restart, about two minutes have lapsed, and I'm already kicked out of the instance. I've crashed other times, but have always been able to make it back in time before being locked out. So I think, ok, maybe I was a few seconds too late this time.

So I try again, this time I encounter a graphics bug one third of the way in, where all I can see is the pelvis of an Aakas Warden and I'm unable to target it. So I log off and get back on IMMEDIATELY. Well, I'm sitting there looking at the door to the entrance of the instance again, smh.

I was able to re-log to get rid of the bug last week and stay in the instance, so I'm assuming something changed in the past few days.

So word of warning, if you're in a solo team, any sort of disconnection is going result in the loss of your key at least temporarily. Normally you would have at least a few minutes grace period, not so anymore, apparently. Both times I stayed in my solo team, and got back on promptly, I don't think the instance is functioning properly when compared to it's incarnation of the last couple years. Hopefully support can help out here.

Maybe this belongs in the bug thread.

If it's like PoE instances recet every 15 minutes or so and you loged out @ 14:99 bad luck, but I feel your pain. I was accepting members in my team wothout paying for the key to be sure my internet or other crash don't screw my instance. Next time get a noob with opalo with good PC and internet in your team.

Happened again, this time it did say Aakas 08 on the title of my window when logging in, but was booted outside again upon logging in. Could be just an issue with my comp. Has anyone else disconnected mid-instance in a solo team since the gold-rush event started? Were you able to get back on and stay inside the instance?

Ceral, it happened to me too. I was in Aakas09 (starting at the beginning of the event) around 30 minutes, and get kicked out of the instance. Was running solo and can't get in again.

No, this started yesterday AFAIK and has been going on ever since. With biliwen's experience I think it's safe to say if you log out of an instance solo you get immediately kicked out. I just got kicked out twice again, both times I was at log-in ready to get in asap as soon as I stopped getting the "Avatar is currently in-game" message.

This is a real fucking pain in the ass coupled with the graphics bug I'm having. I can't kill some mobs if I don't re-log and if I re-log I'm fucked. I guess I'm just going to have to skip some mobs. I'm a perfect 5/5 or whatever it is now on getting kicked out. I've never been kicked out of the instance before, and I've probably re-logged in an instance upwards of 30 or so times in the past year and a half.

Well, if you checked my link restart was exactly yesterday. And maybe MA changed something during it, since you was asking:
That's only one thing I heard about in past few days...

Yes I read that announcement yesterday. AFAIK the bug was there before the announcement. It doesn't say anything about kicking out players and locking them out of an instance once already in. It would be really nice for solo players if they would fix it.

Rest assured we are following this up with Mindark to find out what's going on.

Hire an OJ or two to keep it up while you relog?

Thank you sir. I think if we get 4 hours to complete an instance (4 hours as in the case of an Aakas 09), we should have 4 hours to complete it whether we're logged on or off or whatever. We've already paid the price of the key, and without any hiccups we would be in the instance for a good amount of time anyway. If the server has to hope for people to disconnect and kick them out in order to keep up, that's just wrong. It's silly that I get a 4 hour timer, and if I happen to get a hiccup one minute into the instance, and I log back on 10 seconds later, with only a minute and ten seconds lapsing after entering, I'm already booted out of the instance and out the price of a full TT key.

I've given it 7 shots, I'm done until it's fixed. I keep getting the dreaded monster is able to attack for two minutes, but I can't do anything but sit there and watch my guy get attacked until I'm disconnected bug.

Ceral, send in a support case requesting a refund. The only way MA will ever prioritize these issues is if they have to refund too many keys because of crashes.

Been happening since the instance change. Prior to the event, many of us lost lots of keys. Still waiting for my support case to be answered for about 3 weeks now.
