Nice, it's Goldrush 2014, so it's within the next 40 days. Now that's soon indeed.
Not that the 1 global a month I get would qualify for anything; but any non-mayhem events are welcome.

Winning gold ingots for x-mas sounds good.
Though rl prizes like before, would be awesome to find under the x-mas tree too!

Is this event normally over the holidays? I was hoping it would start in a few days but that looks unlikely due to lack of current info. Any idea how long it lasts for?

 

I'm guessing it will run alongside or crossover with Merry Mayhem.

Not looking good for anything before the holidays!! Events should be advertised further in advance to give people time to decide to attend, get in the right place, get the right kit etc etc. Events seem to involve a very vauge advertisment, followed by a quick statement that it is happening tomorrow! More notice would be great.

 

I made my depo yesterday I am ready - hit me with some gold

 

I have read the previous years threads etc, but do you simply get a ticket for each global and then there is a draw? Its not like most events where the highest number of globals wins?
I am happy to paly, knowing that I will have a tiny chnace with a couple of globals (if I am lucky) but there is no point for me if all prizes are allocated to those with the most globals.

 

I think even with 1 global you will have a chance, but lets see the rules

 

I wouldn't necessarily expect this event to be the same as previous gold rush. We're just gonna have to wait for the detailed announcement.
