Was just wondering if people are having luck selling their hunting loots on the auction? I spent a few days at Arkadia and gathered quite a lot of loot. I did a couple test listings and the only thing that was selling was my eye oil. When at Calypso most loot sells in a matter of hours and I'm hoping that the economy on Ark reaches that point soon.
thats the reason why traders are needed there ... thats the moment when interplanetary trade comes useful
We are 4 days in the new Planet. Right now there is no real economy as people are just busy getting their hands on every bit and byte that is out there. So many discoveries, how many made it with a screenshot to the forum? Guess only stuff that will be selling these days is the stuff that's needed for crafting bps that hold new discoveries. Any other stuff will eventually start selling when things settle, maybe in 3-6 month or so. Mostly when people sorted the good stuff from the crap stuff. The stuff usefull from the ones just good looks etc.
Yes. I've sold eye oil, as well as refined oil, animal hides, and other stuff I would normally TT. Sure there is. EDIT: I just now posted some eye oil on auction, it sold within 5 minutes.
If you put the loot at high MU, it wont sell (obvious I know, but some ppl go nuts when their Oils do not sell at 130%....). Also for some reason my loots seem to sell a lot better/faster in small packets.
Hmmm... not true. If Item X on auction would cost an additional 6 peds in transport fees from Calypso, then you can (currently) sell items for a few ped more than normal (at a higher MU) and still be providing products on Arkadia cheaper than having to buy from Calypso, or an Interplanetary Pirat.....eeeerrrr, trader. Of course, this may (and most likely will) change over the next few weeks/months.
Aren't we talking about hunting loots from Arkadia? bcause I see more than enough supply in auction to start considering the transport fee, unless what you're trying to sell is short in supply, then yes you're right.
If you check basic crafting BP in Arkadia tecnician you see several of them have animals oils as component, so i think is posible sell in Arkadia for crafters. Is posible buy in Calypso auction but with fee.
Thanks for the replys, I think I just need to be more patient. It's just that I want Ark to succeed and when my loots dont sell right away I panic a bit. I need to remember that is has only been a couple days lol.
as a buyer i am missing animal oil residue, infrasound emitters and advanced target assement units on arkadia auction atm... Those will sell at least
Ohh will check it as soon as i finish this mining run Really Chrome almost 111% for for animal oil residue? I doubt anyone will buy my p5a for 115%, so i think i'll pass on that
