NP And I finally found older one (from 2006) - same info there: http://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/f...r-information!&p=289018&viewfull=1#post289018 http://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/gallery/files/2/2/8/2/tamedscan.JPG (direct link to the image) And also got some info about name tags, Aloisius told me maximum name length - 8 characters (so no more walking around "pets-add's").
Great Comment I just LOL'd very loudly in the office - now have to hide and try and pretend its not your forum comments - got to love an open plan office
ATM, my pet nusul is level 3.12. At level 2 he learned how to jump (tabtab learned to flip at level 2), but no new tricks were unlocked at level 3. I heard level 3 pets were supposed to be able to get a name, but I don't see any options for naming them. So... not sure that these new pets can get custom names... has anyone been able to name their pet?
Think you need to buy a name tag for that http://www.entropiaplanets.com/wiki/Taming,_pets_and_stables#Naming_a_Pet
Actually this is quite interesting... the 8 character max confirms my suspicions that the new servers MA installed recently are DOS machines. If only they had gone with Windows 98 we could have had a more useful name length.
Snablesnot cannot be spawned in Arkadia. I can spawn my exarosaurus, and i see daikibas around, but snablesnot "cannot be summoned in this territory".
Scaner do not show pet stats as used in past. Only way to see detailed info is to right click - info in inventory. Nusul do not learn new tricks passed lvl 3. There is no way to see stats of other ppl pets except if they put it in personal trade window. This icon do not work.
Apparently the planet unique mobs are currently planet locked from all reports. You can't spawn a Nusul on Caly either last I heard.
I can understand the reasoning for allowing the spawning of native pets on any particular planet. You don't want an invasive species like those little tabtab bastards or bristlehogs being released into the wild on Arkadia. Lord only knows what kinds of mutants would result from that. But, seriously, that sort of kills the fun of having the entire collection of playthings if you have to travel to another planet to train and exercise your pet. I haven't been to Cyrene lately, but Toulan is pretty dead (not that there's any real population center anyway). You can go to these places to skill up, maybe, if the different pets give the different skills at different rates, or something like that. Just as a side note, I wish my nusuls and tabtabs weren't so small. I'd like to be able to look into their cute little faces when I'm playing with them.
pets also get XP just by following you around. I took my nusul on a hunt and he gained a quarter level by the time I was done and pick him up
There was something I noticed that I would like some other people to test and confirm. When offline, the pet regains it's focus. I believe I noticed my Bristlehog pet having more focus after logging in, spawning it and feeding. I had to feed it in order for the added focus to show up. This would make sense if our pets would be linked to a phone app in the future if you think about it. So please test and see if you can confirm this or make me get an eye test *edit* I went for a nap and when I came back online it had 32% focus. After feeding it 1 nutriobar it's focus went up to 92%.
