In the quest for the Korwil brain many will be taking a beating from these gentle cats. At level 60 I still get a whooping. I am thinking level 65 to 70 is the go. Any other experiences?
It depends also on the maturity you hunt. Can you identify where the whooping begins if you start from Youngs? I would assume Stalkers never miss you but from young to provider you should be OK. Of course armor, HP and dps matter as well to determine the level of Whooping... look at Kikki who tanks Alpha's in probably a spiffy self-crafted armor set shooting a big ass gun
Cold plates help but even youngs can still take off a fair bit HP. I suspect my low dps gun isn't helping, so I am standing around too long taking hits.
Originaly Korwil stalker was one of hardest mobs on Ark with about lvl 115 and high crit rate but PP chnaged that. Now they are arround lvl 80 and do not crit so often so is less hard than Yuka. To hunt them you need to be in evade range of 5 lvls plus/minus to their lvl.
After balancing all in EU in 2012, I calculate evade level for mob like all in game. For effective work of your Evader professional level you need level = Mob level + 5 levels (most SIB guns, tools and blueprints work within this simple rule) So if mob is 20 lvl, your level must be 25+ and so on. If mob is 50 lvl, your Evader profession level must be 55+.
I am Evader lvl 72 and i have no problems with stalkers but only if i use Polaris armor. ( hope that MA will not make them stronger because of what i wrote just now ).
