Hello Everyone. Its that time again. Time for a Cyborg Bill Alphabet Rock n Roll show. Long time Normandie Radio listeners know how these work so for the new listeners here is how it works. I start my show after the intro with a song whos band name starts with the letter A. The requestline then opens and you guys have to request songs whos band starts with the letter A. I will take the first 3 qualifying requests and announce that the next letter in succession is open for requests. If by the time my song ends there are not 3 qualifying requests I will advance to the next song in my list. This will be a 5 hour show. Sometimes you listeners get to Z sometimes not. In any case if you get to Z before I do or time runs out and you are further ahead Prizes will be given out. I will be taking and listing donations prior to the show Just post in this thread what you to donate who you are (optional) who you sponsor (IE: in game buisiness) and any special circumstances for the prize to be awarded. OK heres the rules. This is a rock and roll show so any song with a beat boxer, drum machine, or auto tune are immediately disqualified. Any sub genre of Rock and Roll is accepted from 50's to present ONLY the first 3 songs submitted for current letter that qualify will be played. You MUST be present live in Entropia Universe to claim the prize at the end of the show to claim your prize. If you are not then it will be awarded to an alternate person at the event. The show will start this Friday July 25th at 16:00 at Sanctuary Cove in front of the Normandie Radio head quarters and or the roof top party spot. Also since there will be an Oratan event starting later today you should all point an external player like media player, win amp, or VLC player to HTTP:Euro3.neostreams.info:8024 so you don't have a web browser up hogging bandwidth so you can stay tuned in AND hunt with less lag issues from browser hogging resources.
Prizes donated so far to Fridays show. I will be giving away several level 3 and level 4 Aakas instance keys I crafted (sorry they will need to be repaired before use I b poor.) as well as a few random ped prizes. Kikkijikki has donated a set of Koroma (as these are crafted this will be an after show award so the set can be made for the correct M or F avatar and will be the random tt value they turn out as crafted at the time of making.) Details of the winner will be Forwarded and arrangements will be made to collect the correct set. Thank you very much for the donation Kikki much appreciated mate. Southern Fortress Engineering (SFE) has kindly donated 4 sets of Antikus armor and falls under the same conditions as Kikkijikki's donation above. Vikings of Entropia society has donated a helicopter and 2 Vtols to Normandy radio for use during contests and have been added to the prize pool. Thank you VoE society and all the cool people over there for all the support you guys give us. Prizes will be awarded this way: Prize for most submitions played = Koroma set Prize for 2nd most Antikus set 3rd most Antikus set 4th Antikus set 5th Vtol 6th Helo Final Antikus set will be awarded to the person who pms me with the correct answer to a question I will ask during the show. The last Slepnir will be awarded the same way. There will also be random questions and or directives to get some level 3 and level 4 Aakas instance keys and possibly some 5 ped random give aways just for hangin out.

Nice, that sounds like a a lot of fun. :anticipation: I was telling someone about this, but was asked some questions that I couldn't answer. Since I never heard this show before, and don't know how it works. - The requesting of songs will go through a website I presume? If so, is it the link in Mel_bosshart's signature: normandieradio.com? Or can requests be made in-game also? - How are the eventual prizes awarded? Is there a random drawing among all the requested songs that were played? Hope I can make it in-game for the show. Btw, had to laugh at the exclusion of drum machines and auto tune. A good way to raise the bar.
Yes all requests will be tracked through the Normandieradio.com Web sites request line. Shout out answers or requests do NOT qualify. I posted what and how things will be awarded now that it is nearly time for show and all probable donations have been submitted in the second post in this thread. I will try and log in half hour before the shows official start to go over all this on air as well before it starts. Ok 30 minutes into the show and no one in game to participate here on Arkadia. Think we are sadly going to have to postpone this until there are not a bunch of events holding peoples attentions. My apologies to the normal Normandie radio listeners and Borg fans. I will reschedule this all at a better game time when things are less active universe wide.
