You know those oratan events. The uber ones,, why dont they have it in underground =P. I mean its fair for both sides. Hunters already get reduced cost since they dont need to fap. While underground gets more traffic and funds.
Well, it certainly would be nice for the deed owners, but it wouldn't for the hunters as they would be getting 5% less loot. Beyond that it could have potential negative effects on the loot that is received, due to the way the system takes off 5%. I don't know that to be the case, just a possibility. I would like to see some kind of events down there, it's a pretty cool place.
I was just about to start a topic with this same idea in mind. Arkadia just made 1 million usd from land deed sales. That money should be put into the underground where that money came from. As a deed holder I would like to see events down there also. Not only elite events but maybe some type of system that allows deed holders to host events also. This way some of the bigger deed holders can get together and host some events. In addition I would also like to see that money put into other areas of the underground and perhaps expansion. Puny mobs would be a great addition also as well as some noobie missions. Perhaps we could also think about a voting system like Calypso has as well as some sort of housing for people with x amount of deeds. The possibilities are endless. I would just like to see this money or at least a good portion of it put back into the underground to help stimulate the econmy down there and give investors reasons to keep their investments.
Yeah like players with 1k deeds/ 100 deeds above can have the access to host events. this will increase the potential of the AUD. MORE Player involvement = HIGHER chance of success
During the last Oratan Invasion I asked one of the hosts if there are plans to have events in the underground like the invasion and they said yes but it is a surprise. If this is true it will definitely contribute largely to the underground economy. Can we possibly get more details about this and other plans for the underground form official Arkadia staff?
If you heard the storyline stuff from one of the IFN avatars during the event, the new big mobs origin seem to be linked to Underground. So we can expect some sort of storyline/event following that up. Probably won't know details till they announce.
Yeah, an (Oratan) Underground Event would be great. It would be a big boost for the AUD, and also gives a new story to enjoy. Since the Oratan come up from the Underground to do raids on the Firebases; I guess at some point we turn the tables on them, and try a different tactic? Like when the IFN finds an Oratan clan somewhere Underground, we can go and flush them out? Or at least eliminate that nest/breeding ground. Either by pinpointed location, or perhaps we even have to try and find their exact hiding places ourselves first? Spread out to scout the Underground, and when they are found: everyone gathers there, and start the massacre... Ah, surprise events to look forward to: the anticipation is half the fun.
