Hi all. I'm going to be setting up several events here on Arkadia in the 4 Event areas across the planet. I'm currently in a trial stage to see what kind of interest I can draw from the community in these events. The areas are set up to satisfy hunters of all levels. For now I will offer 100 ped in prizes with a 5 ped registration fee. (Excluding puny event area, 2ped registration when bug is fixed) As interest increases in the events, so will the prize amounts. I have Contacted Dave (the CEO/owner of ARK) and have been promised that the A-team will put this issue as a high priority to get it fixed ASAP. I've also made the suggestion to put a default TP and terminals in the center of each Event Area to reduce travel costs and time. Also, we are looking at moving mobs within event areas around and adjusting maturities to even out the danger level gap. We may be able to look forward to that in a near future update. You can add Southern Fortress Engineering (SFE) to your sponsors list. I'll contact you on Skype and have more of a chat with you there, but essentially, we have been trying to get low and mid level events happening for a while but are unable to commit the time to run them ourselves. The idea is to familiarise new players and older players alike with our brand and have the event pretty much pay for itself from a marketing point of view. TTY more on Skype.
Sounds really interesting and it can even increase the player base on Ark due to those events. Gonna attend the events and see what happens
I'm going to wait for now to add more events in Event area 2 due to the weak spawn rate. I'm considering making a cheaper event option there which will have a max of 20 tickets to see if the spawn rate would hold strong enough for a 30 min event with only 20 hunters grinding. The prizes and ticket cost for an event like that would be deflated.
I've checked event rooster ingame and saw nothing for newbies like me. I was pn last punny event and took me a while to get there and when I arrived got stuck in mid wall of the outpost
I have received a couple of nice donations, so I will be adding a new puny event to the roster soon. I plan to have a max of 20 tickets and set the event time limit for 30min to see how the spawn holds up with 20 participants. I am currently on Calypso, so check back in about 24hrs for an Event Area 2 hunt.
This is a great idea, would love to see it continue! I'd definitely join the nusul/bokol hunts once the maturities get straightened out. Great incentive for me to start and plow through those missions, but until the higher level bokols leave I'd just be throwing away peds. Hopefully the Ark team can get this done soon!
You will tend to find in events you might not have the issue of larger mobs depending on the number of entrants as there are people happier to take down the larger mobs excellent news and thanks for the ones setup so far I have run several myself before and am aware that it can be costly to setup good luck and I will be attending more of these
The aim with making the mobs closer in danger level is so that the lower level hunters will have a more fair chance at winning an event. There is a better chance to loot a high loot from a L18 Bokol Alpha than a L4 Nusul Young. So, I don't want to discourage people from joining due to a less chance of getting the big one. You're welcome, it has been like working a job setting these up. Any help with making sure that your friends know these events are going on is greatly appreciated. I am confident that these events will slowly grow in size and benefit the community of Arkadia. So, I am happy to risk my ped and time for the greater benefit of stimulating the economy here. I will also be happy to help support your events. Let's just try not to have conflicting events at the same times

Thank you for all this great events!!! to be honest I was thinking to go to Caly .... but now ... definitly will stay on Ark and will try to be, as much as I can, on every event ... With best regards OLD NICK
