New items added on log in, Map 1A and Map 3A

Anybody have any idea what these are for? Something for the new update perhaps?

It seems on log in two items are added to your equipment section, Map 1A and Map 3A. No text information is given on them, and they both share the same icon image.

 

My wife also found 2A in her inventory.

 

I got them too, Svena. Map 1A and 3A, don't know what they're for...

Got a Map 1A and Map 3a. They might be equipped... but if you click Use tool - nothing happens :huh:

 

These Maps came out a bit sooner then they wore supposed to come out.

Part of the use for these maps will be reveled in the near future

 

If they lead to fresh-out-of-the-oven cookies, I'm there! Rest of you can have your untasty gold coins.

 

He-he hope they will enable radar in PvP :whistle:

 

Is this just Arkadia or world wide? And it sound interesting.

Interesting: I received Map 1A and Map 2A.
Even though released prematurely by mistake: it's fun to imagine the future uses of them.

They kinda look like treasure maps.
And if this is only going to be on Ark, maybe it is something to do with treasure?
Though missions wouldn't require a standard item in everyone's inventory.
Maybe something that lets you save a position of something?
Meh, those guesses are probably 10.000 miles off.

I think it has to do with the upcoming smuggler missions...

Received Map 1A, 2A and 3A. Speculation amongst numerous players (myself included) believe the maps to be related to Planet Arkadia. It would be fun if they led to the Smugglers; there is that reward poster out for them after all

 

Considering the colors, black and red, I think it has something to do with the upcoming Smuggler mission chain.

 

Well, since you can equip it, I, being OpaloMan, say it's a TP weapon that you can TP others anywhere at any time!

 

I'm also curious why some people have received two maps, and others three. Is it random? Or maybe based on how long one has regularly been on Arkadia?
