I saw some people say they wanted to quit the game over this issue so I decided to find a fix. To correct the held-item dance bug, press an emote 2 times fast, then a dance can be done while holding an item. The effect wears off if dance is stopped or movement stops the dance. I find the only way to dance longer is if you move your mouse a bit every 5- 10 seconds. Seems the issues is they have the timer set to nearly nothing. You can also dance indefinitely if you start the dance and are in windowed mod drop focus from EU in most cases. Not sure if holding items makes any difference as we usually had something in our hands while dancing at the shows I used to do for NR. I do understand peoples issue over this as the simple fact of MA being so petty over people standing around and actually having fun in their game when they endeavor to remove all fun as it usually makes them little to no money. Pretty pathetic they went this far to try and force people to go out and constantly lose money. In EU you don't dance emote.. Emote dances YOU.
Not dancing while having an item equipped is new with this VU. And honestly I should be able to hit dance and go grab a fresh beer and still be dancing when I get back.
