New thread being maintained by May, can be found here: Korwil ***** Description: Blending in with its natural snow covered environment extremely well, a Korwil is difficult to spot and can cover vast distances in a blink of an eye. Its attack is voracious with freezing cold claws and lightning fast movements. The effect of incredible speed and ferocity made the Korwil one of the creatures most feared by the first humans to set foot on Arkadia. Creature Type: Animal Damage Type: Cut Stab 30% Cold % of each is still under investigation Statistical data: Korwil IFN Challenge: View attachment 5845 Maturities: Young Mature Old Provider Guardian Dominant Alpha Old Alpha Prowler Stalker For loots please use any of these sources and please help to keep them updated and correct. Damage test With unplated Gremlin a Young hit for 56.2 damage. Decay was 2.133 which is 26 absorbed. This is consistent with Stab/Cut/Cold as demonstrated by Yquem: http://arkadiaforum.com/showthread.php?1787-Korwil-Damage-type It's a minimum of 11 Stab (13.2%) and 9 Cut (10.9%) from 82.8 total With unplated Viking a Young did 35.5 damage. Decay was 2.516 which is 29.5 absorbed, 65 total hit Given the minimum %s above, the maximum 6 Stab and 4 Cut must have been absorbed, leaving 19.5 Cold which is exactly 30% of the total. With unplated eMine a Young did 16.4 damage. Decay was 4.355 which is 44.1 absorbed giving a 60.5 total hit. We know that 30% of the total is Cold, so that's 18.2 of which 7 is absorbed, so 11.2 was received in damage, leaving 5.2 damage which must be accounted for by either Cut or Stab. 37.1 of the absorbed damage must be Cut and Stab, so that's either 19 Cut & 18.1 Stab or 19 Stab & 18.1 Cut, with the 5.2 added to whichever was the 19. So the total from this hit was either: 18.2 Cold, 24.2 Cut & 18.1 Stab; or 18.2 Cold, 24.2 Stab & 18.1 Cut With rounding that looks like 30%/40%/30%. I wasn't able to isolate the Stab and Cut with the armour I have on Arkadia. A Polaris test might be able to do it, but might take a few attempts.
