It has come to my attention there are folks in game who believe in the boogy man. To be perfectly honest buying sweat for 3 ped per K is a not only viable option paying hard working sweaters for a much needed commodity, but as I see it when I needed over 30K I paid that price for it.

Did I feel cheated paying that price? Not only no but you cheap skates paying 1.5 and as low as 1.3 per K should be dragged out and whipped to death by the very sweaters you are seeking to so handily rob. Do I sound angry? I can remember the days, before I could depo much into the game getting paid 5 ped per K and even higher back in the early days at PA!

Some people are saying there's no easy use for massive amounts of sweat, I say you people are full of carabok droppings.
and a simple look at Entropedia can give you a number of useful blueprints that eat up sweat in massive quantity. so in conclusion, you 2 ped per K and lower resellers maybe should go back to calypso where you can peddle your snake oil sales to the people who want to listen to you. As for me when I buy sweat you can be sure I won't rip you sweaters off!

way to go azamandus, i just wish there were more genuine and legit people like urself inside the game. Most people inthere are just trying to rip people off their hard earned money for their pursuit of their ' get rich quick' dreams.

thanks GOD there are good people here too!!!

Enough hysterics. We have a market economy. Price is set by the balance between demand and supply. No one is being ripped off.

    Really!

Well lets take a look at economics and our so called in game economy, These sweat resellers want to purchase this commodity at as low a price as they can obtain from the people supplying it. This is based upon a outdated idea, there are so many uses for Vibrant sweat in this game now that basing sweat prices off of a single item it is used for is outlandishly stupid!

I guess you are of the opinion that you should drive these people like a bunch of medieval slaves, is that what your supporting? So if that's the case, then I would like to direct you to a very informational page that anyone is able to
access from their browser. http://www.entropedia.info/Info.aspx?chart=Material&name=Vibrant_Sweat Now lets talk about our in game economy.

Using the above uses for vibrant sweat can you honestly say sweat is worth so little on the market? I obtained the bonding liquid blueprint myself the MU on the item that this blue print produces is 175%,now speaking from a economic view sweat is worth more then a pittance you want to enforce on folks who in most cases are not in a way to depo like you and I can into the game.

So in closing here hysterics has nothing to do with this, its unfairness that I plan to stand against, but feel free to keep basing your economic outdated data on a single use. I hope to one day see you chased down in game with torches and pitchforks frankly I'll be the guy selling the pitchforks!

    Hysterics? Waiter, Reality Check Please..

Well I hate to break this to you folks, but I would like to point to something that is in fact located in of all places, a known and well kept secret from the new combers in game.. It's a little thing called Entropiedia..

If you look at this link located here, you can see that the idea of your economics is severely falwed..

5 years ago when I came into game, there was one (and only one) use for sweat, and that is in fact Mind Essence... and at the time this single commoditiy had a value of 160-200%. and this was back in 2008 and 2009.

Since the inception of the New Game engine sweat was indeed at an all time low. hovering about 2.0 or even less.

but with the inception of new commodities that have been a larger return on other commodities that have been created for use.. One of the more common commodities are in fact Welding wire which as of yesterday (December 2, 2013), was a whopping 184%, Distilled Sweat Crystals which are used to create at least 7 kinds of guns are a total 140% MU for the item.. add to that some of the other items like Bonding agent from Cyrene which goes for 175, and others, the overall market should be far more than the 1.5 ped per K that many players are handing out to new players.

So what does this mean for sweaters/ This means you folk are more blindthan I am.. and then let's take this a bit further.. and stop and think real hard on this..

If you think your loot is bad now, forcing a new player to quit means that you are actually going to pay more for the horrible loot. (Didn't see that one coming did you?) Cause each player you take out of game means you will have less potential depositors in game, and thus smaller loot pools, Continue the trend and thus the end result is that you'll be wanting to complain and blame MA about the issue when in reality, it will be the players themselves who actually will cause this game's downfall, and not MA for all their so called Snafus..

The reality is this: Economics is part of the key to success, and in today's world we can see that art indeed really imitates life.. We have world economies that were driven by greed collapsing around us, we see governements being shut down because someone wants to support their political issues, and above all when all is said and done, people are suffering all the way around the world..

The real question to the players here are.. are you part of the problem or are you part of the solution here? If you are part of the problem then please by all menas complain about the bad loot you receive on a daily basis, if you are part of the solution, then by all means don't complain about the bad returns. I sure don't complain at all about them. I'm here for the fun, and not the money.. Call me crazy, call me nuts, but there are other aspects to this game otehr than the money here. One is making friends, another is to learn about proper economics and how the world should be run.. Not by the insensitive and the greedy but by people who really know more about economics than you realize..

In short, look at the link I gave and then reconsider your comments here, after all what happens iafter this isn't really my problem anymore.. but it will be your problems in the future when you try to find new ways to mile the cash cows you work for, and then find out there aren't any..

And this comes from a guy who hears more thean he sees,

    Benjamin Ben Coyote
    a.k.a. "The Blind Sniper".

Pergola I use 10k sweat per click by the way :D

Here you go economics made Simple “items are only worth what a person is willing to pay” and that varies on a person by person basis. Example if I’m doing a run on something that has sweet in it yes, I will defiantly give more than the average 2 ped because my runs are 500-1K pulls.

But really look at the bps that take the sweat, 97% I would say does not sell well enough to support more than 2 ped a k and furthermore the bps for those items like “BBQ grill, Pergola, or the curtains” only pertain to people who have estates. The other stuff like the paradigm shirt series are new, and don’t get me started on the RT bps where you have to craft 10 different bps just to craft the one bp you want and trying to get the dragon parts for the dragon plates are well…………. A pointless ped soak and actually not worth the ped for the protection you get.

Make bps worth crafting like say “clothing” for the general public and make it ( C) otherwise it’s an epic fail, and here’s the big one “FURNITURE!!!!!!!” not just a BBQ grill or a Pergola but like a couch, chair, love seat, fireplace, TV stand and I could go on and on but the item point have to be low like .50 point so you can add all kinds of goodies. And the bps have to be common enough that there are not only 1 or 2 of them out that’s just stupid saying yeah we have bps that use sweat and well………. I know there are only 2 in the game but they are there. Get real so people what a hof on a bp I say craft it not try to make it a hof by selling it.

Make BPs for items that sell to all players. Then if crafters like me have items that sell for any amount of mu then we could afford to pay more for the mats we need. Like it would be stupid to pay an average of say 150% mu on your mats to craft an item then say the mu on the item is 160% I’m taking a loss why? Not every pull will produce a success and yes there are near successes but they do not return 100% of your mats they only return a portion of your mats and mostly the return in in some form of residue.

So in effect you take a loss then too, unless you get that rare global then you’re like sweet not a total loss. Mostly what I craft I have to TT it because there is always something bigger and better being looted and they phase out the mats for the old bps or make the mats so rare it is stupid to even attempt to craft it.

    Product and Demand
Product (sweat): You have the product plus sweating gives you needed skills so it’s not a total loss of time and that’s right its FREE to do and the only person it cost ped is the buyer because the tool does not decay.

Demand: Well the like above proves there is no demand for it what few people who have the bps that are out and useable by only estate owners is not enough to bring up the price of sweat. And the rest that are from RT well we all see where that is going I have friends who have went to RT to get all their stuff out of storage and trying to liquate their damages before Neverdie well…….dies lol.

You want sweat to be worth more have it included in items that sell regularly not just once in a blue moon.
Items that sell regularly = more buyers of items needed to craft it.
Items listed on the AH 3-4 times because no one buys it or can use it = no crafter going to waste his/her ped to run the bp regularly

I know this is going to have a hell fire rain down on me but hey I say what has to be said and what others are scared to admit to in public. Facts don’t lie look at the sales of these so called sweat using items they just are not there maybe it is the price but who knows.

And if I had the BBQ grill or Pergola BPS and only gave 1.5-2 ped a k for sweat then I would be embarrassed especially if I was asking what they are selling them for. And crafters selling the Pergola and BBQ grill for +150 and up on an average that is their prerogative, but if you are one that is only paying 1.5-3 ped a k then you are part of the problem not the solution. It only cost an average of 28-38 ped to craft it and that’s if you give the measly 2-3ped a k because, 99% of the cost is the 10k of sweat you have per click. But hey this is my 2 pec worth

I agree Kitten and my comment was not ment twords you in general ;) unless you are buying it for 1.5-2 ped a k and selling it at +150ped. We all know who resells sweat at stupid prices because they screwed the noob paying 1.2-1.5. I was at neas the other day checking the sweat buyers out they were saying 1.3 per k, I then i then said hello and i was buying it for 2ped a k I had a line of atleast 20 ppl even the guy buying it for 1.3 ped a k needless to say i did not buy his and explained why then he had his buddies come and try to trade me some that he gave them.

but all in all what we need is bps we asked for them and they gave us bps even if it was like 1 or that actually sell they can say well we gave you bps and your still not happy. my responce would be how many of the usable bps actually dropped? like the BBQ/ Pergola and such?

actually I think I use a lot more sweat on the Allure leather couch and chair they are humm 300 or 500 a click if I recall.

Sadly I think NI had it great with that fabric that uses sweat its such a shame the rest of the bp to use that fabric never happened because not only is it a good skiller bp but it made a BIG demand on sweat for a long time.

yupyup heres the one I am talking this ones pretty great

Lesser Elysia (8 lysterium, 20 vibrant sweat)
    used to make
Elysians' Tropical top, Island shirt, Jungle shorts and Hoplite sandles

so 3 clothes and an armour part. This made sweat awesome seller on NI for a good while and STILL ppl can sell sweat there not bad when theres a crafter around and it usually goes at a higher price. Easy to use and makes some great items. This is like one of the last and best things NI did its such a shame they did not get this kind of thing figured out years ago lol

Now on arkadia we have a really good range of uses for furniture but unfortunately a lot of the apartments got unused so not enough furniture can really sell long term to support just from that.

We do also have Arkadia Golden Key 50k sweat a click. thats pretty great but not enough of them clicked although that does generaly meant that every golden door run = support of our new players

No need to ascribe motives to me. I'll tell you.

Slavery is a bad analogy. I don't accept that there is a vast number of people who have no capability to deposit. I believe that for most it is a choice made that for them it is inappropriate to spend real money on the game. That's their choice and it's a valid way to play the game. And if they can make a go of it they have my congratulations. I have no desire to enforce anything on other players, but it's not up to me to subsidise that person's play. Sweat is worth what people are willing to pay. Yes there are now more uses for sweat but supply continues to outstrip demand.

I'm sorry you feel that sweat is priced under its real value. I don't agree. But I am happy to let the market decide.

    Regards,
    KikkiJikki

Wow its nice to see people who are looking for the same things I am, and I agree with you we need more bps that are useful to help increase the demand for sweat... take the bonding liquid bp that I mentioned, it takes 10 sweat and 3 super adhesive which can be obtained in its raw form from cyrene.

The product created from the bp is used as a major component in vehicle construction bps on cyrene something I am seriously looking at. I really like the Dragonfly copter, and this item is used in its production. Its good to see some higher level players that do seem to be aware of folks who really don't have much in the way of ways to get PED.

stimulating conversation is a lost art,but anthony if you want to discuss things more add me. I would love to hear your ideas on things we might ask Chris and David about.

Either you view sweat as a commodity or as a form of avatar welfare. Either viewpoint is fine. But you need to clarify in your own mind which you believe. If it's a welfare then set a "true" price at 5 ped or whatever you think is right. But if it's a commodity, the market (supply and demand) determine its price, and if a reseller or crafter is able to buy sweat at 1.5 ped per k or less, then whether you like it or not, supply is higher than demand and that's its price. Now as a sweater, you might want to find the people who believe that sweat is a form of welfare and sell to them. Hint: there are many threads on this topic on the various forums... locate the players who are proponents of high sweat prices and sell to them.

BTW, ME and WW are loss endeavors with anything over 2 ped/k sweat. Even with current ME market values, TP chips are still more expensive than any other vehicle for the distance.

Sweating should be a very temporary job for newbies just starting out the game, not something they can do to get a lot of profit. It is after all, pretty boring and not a very good intro IMO to the game. (I know there are a few of you out there who love it, forgive me).
