Saw some run around clueless so thats a good sign keep up the good work

4 years of mentoring and Guiding ... I have my Noob Radar =) but yes noobs do surprise me a lot which is cool

 

Saw one last night, I see something missing from the starting experience too, one thing calypso does it directs people on how to sweat and gets you started with a mission to gether sweat, I havent seen anything on this, something that could be changed, the noobie I saw had no clue about sweating.

Also I guess Arkadia could do with a sweat camp of sorts, I know you need to make money yourself but with no sweat flowing easily MF may become an issue?

Another thing I noticed was the lack of the puny killer pop gun and enough ammo for 20 minutes of fun. the sword given is over too quickly, perhaps something else that could help.

With the limit to a noobie deposit being 200 ped in 30 days (or until they have the code) it could help keep them around if directed to sweating and given a reason to deposit, I know myself that that pop gun gave me a nice taste of hunting, even if you have to make them earn it with a run to another TP (the forementioned sweat camp)

 

Bumped into a new player yesterday. Was able to help him complete the newbie missions & hope to mentor him if he should stay at it . Arkadia moving along well!

 

Yup, I found one too and gave a helping hand.

This newby came from Singapore and got to Arkadia because of the Asia Game conference (or what it is called)
Gave her/him a extended tp run and explained a few things about basic economy and some professions.
She/he is now interested in becoming a miner and I go give some more help.
And already considering depositing, so thats a nice start

This game does not come with a set of instructions, or manual....it can be confusing when you start. Thank you for sharing that with us, it's just awesome to have an external feedback on that sort of things!
I think Arkadia community is even better and more motivate due to the feel we have on the planet.
Look at the work you've done so far, enjoy the results, keep it coming and look at what we (the community)can do out of it!
