    To whom this may concern.

STOP spamming my Email with the "you haven't logged into the game and are not hemorrhaging money" messages.

I left Calypso to come to Arkadia because I do not wish to support you. I am not happy I do not have the choice to support Planet Arkadia with the blood money you suck out of me every time I play even when I am not on Calypso (See Jim I can be nice and not call it Calshitzo because it hurts someone's feelings)

I want NOTHING to do with your planet. I am an Arkadian now and have been since day 1. If I am not in game wasting money to feed your favorites their holiday gifts it is because I choose to NOT be in game (my apologies to the Ark team since this hurts them as well but I'm not losing extra for these events to pay for Calypso happenings). I have played now for 7 years. I have a lot of time and at this point a decent chunk invested financially so these favored ones can be happy. The least you can do is to respect my wishes and stop filling my mail box with these ridiculous messages.

Instead of wasting effort to do this crap why don't you address the issues why people don't log in and fix that DUMB ASSES.
Stop Harassing us with useless emails. It only pisses us off more making us want to support you less.

I apologize to Arkadian residents for the rant but I can't post on PCF anymore and they obviously won't read anything from support regarding this.

Anyone that CAN post to PCF point them to this post so it gets their attention and maybe they MIGHT be motivated to cut this bullshit out and act like a normal business and give a tiny bit of respect to their customers.

We'll, all I can say is that I have been on Ark for a few months now and am not getting spammed by MA for not logging in on Caly.

I did get the "not logged in" emails last year when I went on vacation for a few weeks. I was on Caly at that time.

    Best of luck to you.

Sounds a bit strange..... have you only have this avatar? It's not a other avatar with the same mail address that get's the mails?

You wouldn't be getting them because you have been logging in to EU within the time frame their system has for flagging such people. Its not a Caly specific thing, it's an EU wide thing.

IMO its a stupid move and I'm not surprised that people view it as harassment.

The two week thing is probably to remind new players that they made an account rather than us old timers who've just gotten jaded with EU and aren't logging in. And yes there should be an option to turn it off.

It's still strange that you get them only after two weeks of not logging in?

If you don't get them(if you been two weeks without your fix), I suggest you take a look at your details as your email is probably wrong

I'm still getting these 'friendly reminder' emails for my old account (that despite requesting deletion a while ago, still seems to be alive).
It's actually a little bit irritating that those mails can't be refused.

They are most probably automated without any connection to the account administration, or they would not send reminders to a account slated for deletion. At least that would be the logical explanation, which is better than thinking it's just very badly organized. View attachment 8354

In the end getting those emails every two weeks is just annoying people, even new ones like me.
Surely, that can't be what they hope to accomplish with this 'campaign'. View attachment 8356

Yeah, don't expect that account to actually get deleted May. They keep them in the system so they can boast having over 1 million accounts....

My brother still gets periodic emails from them and he hasn't played since 2006!

The accounts never get deleted they just get all their items tt'd and their skills reset. You have to specifically ask for deletion when setting up a new account and even then they probably just disable it.

You can request an account reactivation as well after a few years as there have been posts on other forums from people who've done it and then asked why they'd lost everything.

I log in at least one time each two weeks, so no problem ;)
It can't be that huge problem, I mean, how often do a player not log in at least one time in a two week period?

Logging into the website is enough, I believe, to stop your account from being reset.

There are work arounds yes. But If I want to take a break I shouldn't be harassed by emails as frequently as they do. The bottom line is I have asked on more then one occasion to be left alone and its not happening so now I view it as harassment and MA should be banned for breaking their own rules.

Its just another blatant case of MA waving their little Swedish cocktail weenies around showing that they have their own agenda and the customer base does not matter.

There at least should be an opt out thingy on the MA website.

There is, but these mails clearly state that
One does not simply walk out of MA's grip :)

You could always flag the emails as spam with your email provider and they will go straight to the spam folder, problem solved.

That's just weird; confirming that you're going to delete it, and then turn around and just not do it. Even if it is to pad numbers, it's not doing what you agreed to do. That's something that, when it's the other way around, is deemed unacceptable.

No wonder there are so many alts walking around; creating multiple accounts is obviously very easy to accomplish.

And yes, ultimately you can send the emails to the spam or trash folder. But the basic principle is not circumvented with that.
The fact that they blatantly write that you can not opt out of these mails, is not only bad customer service, it appears to be on shaky legal grounds.

It happens to me all the time. I hadn't logged in, nor did the update from the big platform release (VU 14.3) they did until just recently, and prior to that, I didn't log in for over 2 months. However, every time I don't log in during a 2 week period, I can count on the email arriving from Calypso (probably because that's my planet of birth with MS9, don't know), and during that 2 month plus period of time, I got more than one email, so ...

Yes, if you don't log in for 2 weeks straight, the email is sent, and I have to agree that it's annoying. If I wanted to be in this screwed up universe, then I would choose to, but then, Arkadia is the only place I would care to be. However, I do intend to check out Monria next month sometime.

What MindArk is not understanding, is that we are adults, and if we want to check into the universe, we will ... if we don't, then we won't ... it's that simple. We don't have to be constantly reminded that we made the decision NOT to.
