Any sneak peaks for Octobers Arkadia update?

I thought we were getting an update on 9/17/13 but it didn't happen. Did they move this to October when the new planet is supposed to be out?

 

Am I the only one who thinks it's pathetic that the Client Loader still shows a last update from March 20, 2013 - almost 6 months ago?

 

Platform update was scheduled for early september and is overdue - maybe coming next week?

Planet Partner update is scheduled for October but is necessarily being pushed back by the late platform update as they want to allow a couple of weeks to deal with inevitable bugs that accompany each platform update.

 

nope i'm with ya. played through gears of war 1 and 2 on hardcore casue of it.

 

Yeah I was wondering why only Calypso has sneak peaks for this partner update
And Arkadia was good so far with sneak peak and comunication with the fans

 

Yep, I'm With ya there.... It would be nice to have a screen that says "everything is fine, just another day" instead of old news. There does not even have to be any information..... Just not the old news that does not apply anymore. Just like the forum page. The Deeds were sold, Yes we want more, But.... No need to advertise something "this week" when it has long past.
It gives the same feel as the Dead planet Next Island's site, where it still says they are looking forward to the next update. If there was something to take the place of "dead air", the players would like it more... <sorry for the NI comparison>

edit- maybe have the live list for the top loots / achievements on the top of the forum... showcasing the planet, instead of the feel of neglect with the hype of yesterdays old news. Even though its not neglect, it just has that feel.... and maybe add a bigger time stamp / removing "this week" and terms like that. A few new players I had sent here, told me more shops were getting released, I got excited only to find out, it was old news <twice>.

-It would be nice to see something other than old news though <Forum header and Client Loader>... just to kinda distract us till the next key information is in play

 

Maybe the client loader can't be updated without a VU.

 

Well, they should just be links that point to a image and URL that they can replace at a whim. But you never know.

Client Loader contains plain html, hence it can be updated seperated from new VUs.

I don't recall seeing HTML pages in the EU data area on my pc so I'd say it's a webpage from a server. So it should be easy to update but as it's based on the MA server I'd say it's slightly harder to update.
