I wonder where sootos have been for me or if they only show up on treasure drops. I am nearing 10k drops without a sooto.

Nice! I only tried treasure mining few times, so i am noob at this. But my question is did you get it in your loot window? or u had to craft it? (my guess is loot windows ^^)
ATM it feels as if SOOTO is turned off for atleast mining ore/enmatter. where i used to get plenty of vases during ore/enm mining, and the occasional other sooto if i had treasure also turned on, since the VU i hit a great number of 0
Sooto only happens in Treasure hunting on Arkadia. But you can find sooto in Ores and Enmatters on Calypso.
SOOTOs (items found while mining) have never dropped from ore/enm mining on Arkadia. So if you found vases, it was from your treasure drops. Not necessarily. For a long time the average drop rate was about 1 SOOTO in 1k drops, so a streak of 2-3k drops without one wouldn't be that unusual. I'm not sure what it is now as I haven't had time for much treasure hunting.
thanks for the info. still, even with treasure enabled, the rate on the vases was far higher before the VU then it is now, atleast imo. i think i got 8-10 vases in ~1k drops before VU (mostly amped, so it allows for higher tt drops, aka vases with 8-10 ped tt). I'll try to test it more when im back on arkadia.
I can run 10k to 15 or more drops before even getting a global let alone a sooto. They seem to come only as a reward for depositing lately. The only time I see them is when I depo to see what the new VU's bring IF something catches my attention.
