Competition Planet Arkadia Triathlon 2013 - "TEN" edition (Event has now ended)

If i had gone for level 13 amps from start i would have had a chance as i wrote erlier, still mad about the 13 level 10 amps with only 1 global, there was no point in crafting anymore when i could not get mining globals.

My plan was to craft level 10 amps from L bp and then mine with them to get many miningglobals, then move on to hunting and hunt until i had as many hunting globals as mining, after that finish up with crafting on condition untill i had enough globals there, sad thing the mining was so hard

 

lol....i kept manually track of the dangeroust players ,saw you were lacking hutingglobals+ miningglobals..i said to my wife ..if chuck scores huntingglobals i hope he will have to go to auction to buy level13 amp



garco: girts dont have craftingglobals in tracker,but tracker didnt register all..i have 70 something tracker,but i scored around 90 amps and 9 conductors

4) girts

efreet and salty are fifth and sixth,not sure who is fifth or sixth

 

yes,impossible to score globals without level 12 or 13
i remember back when i used to mine couple years ago..that oldstyle level 5 amps would global easily
something definatively changed

 

Ya, was a good competition, but I almost couldn't participate.

Finished with 5 hunting globals, 2 crafting globals and I passed 5 D-Class Amps and 1 Level 12 amp to get a puny 55 peds global. All in all total cost of 150$ USD. Was a nice rush, but with 1 point... I'd be suprised I finish in the top 10 loll Well at least I tried. I see people like Graco that has 70 something points and toad with 17... even after being in game for 10 years I feel like such a noob

Well congratz to Ark for organizing this, was great! (costly a bit, but about the same price as a good restaurant, but that lasted 4 days so bang for buck... not too bad )

Bring on the next events (but not too quick so we can recover a bit loll).

PS: BTW, when will the full list of participants and ranking be available? I'd love to see the full list to see how many people participated and everyone's overall ranking

 

It was clear the mining globals were going to be the bottleneck. I dropped my first ever level 13 amp and did not like it at all... when I realized there was no way to get enough globals from my regular mining style, I reduced the hunting accordingly and just made it match my crafting run.

This is called Chasing the dragon and there is always a choice. Throwing good money after bad....

There were good reasons the previous mayhem events were limited in time, and you just proved why that was. I think its not healthy to spend so many hours in a row. The adrenalin is a boost but a responsible company should not set up an event in a way it stimulates players to risk their health.

That doesnt mean what you showed was not impressive, on the contrary

didnt started well hunting and them 10s didnt worked well for me either mining so stopped soon

Greetings from Big Industries and entropialife.com !

Was definitely a fun event. The contenders fought fiercely and I enjoyed myself very much. GZ to the winners and the good sportsmanship that was displayed by all. I didnt get to start the event till it was about 30 hours or so in, and on the last day I had to sleep a little that cost me a top 4 finish. However hats off to the ones who were able to dedicate the time needed.

I didnt hide my results on tracker, but keep in mind that when you are crafting an items and it repeats the same score it registers in the brain a s a double score and is not valid. The reason for this is in the chat log for a very long time we had issues with globals being registered 2x because of a bug in game. This is something we may change in the future once we are sure that the bug is fixed! (so thanks for using entropialife.com)

64 Hunting globals
62 mining globals
62 crafting globals

I enjoyed the excuse to get back home to Arkadia! I can't wait until the next big VU so I can continue to spend more time on my favorite planet.

I know I won't score that high, but still anxious to see how I placed and if I got lucky in the draws

so this event is nothing more than another uber feeding event.... great... how about something for the 99% of us that don't have thousands of hours and tens of thousands of dollars a year to lose! i have been active in this game(off and on) for about 2 years. from what i see no matter how eco i play or what i try, globals are a 1/10th thing, meaning if i want a 100ped global i have to lose 1000 ped first, nice try (not really) with the event, but how about something ANYONE can win!
