    Yo yo,

I am coming to Ark to grind some low level mobs.

I want to get my Tiarak/nusul missions finished

Anyone know a good setup (gun/MFwise) for these.

Weapon: Xent Tech light rifle X2 or X3 + Omegaton A102
Armor: Adjusted Pixie (Nusul) or Musca (L) for Tiarak
    FAP: Herb Box

Nusul aren't hard, you may try them out without any armour too. As for a weapon, I'm trying to test if the Dmg/PEC of the weapons means anything for the loot. Guess I'll just say "whatever suits you best".

I hunt big nusul with archon's sword, no armor (or Rascal if you need it), SI heart in between mobs. Can't get much more eco than this as long as your evade is decent, of course.

You can hunt both these mobs without armor, if you have a decent DPS. Nusul have a good amount of HP but a weak attack, while Tiarak have very little HP but hit a bit harder. So either way you can kill them while taking little damage. If you do wear armor, Adj. Pixie should be more than enough protection to hunt Young-Provider of either of these mobs. Though, as Neil said you can hunt the big Nusul (up to Stalker) without armor on, healing between mobs. Don't try that on the big Tiarak (Old Alpha and up) though, they will send you to revive real quick.

I'm sure you'll have fun, both of these mobs loot pretty good for being low level.

    Good luck!

I am more and more convinced "extreme eco" is bs and anything over 2,8 dmg/pec is fine. Just completed my oro stage 5 with opalo+a101 mostly and I had a 100.6% tt return for the entire mission... planning to test the cap-r+a101 next to see what my results are.

Don't over or under damage and over or under armor and everything else doesn't really matter as much as ppl think.

I see, I think thats what I need to learn is the over and under damage bit.

I was thinking Ancient_Red_Scorpion + 101 without armor for the nusul. Should drop them fast and eco.

That's what I do hunt nusul naked with ars +a101, Fap S.I Heart between mobs.
As for tiaraks I do them naked up to old with ars+a101, but put my goblin +2a on for provider/guardian. Only need to fap between mobs. I also try to always attack at the max range of my gun. And walk backwards while shooting this allows me to kill tiarak young before it reach me.

There is nothing more eco than ARS+A101 combo other than X2/X3+A102. I myself wouldn't bother with the last two options.

Looted low-TT CAP-20 Desert the other day and decided to use it up myself.
So, took A104 from my tagger, slapped on the pistol and went to Relentless oro spawn. The bigger ones other side of the mountain at least reminded hunting a little, small ones though was simply a massacre, one-shot kills pretty often.

In 30 min got 95ped & 64ped globals. Quess which side of the mountain? Small oros or big ones? ;)
    Right, u quessed it! :)

I don't have an explanation... just telling u what happened. So, the right gear for nusul? Hmm....
