Availablity: Discipleship Graduation By special request from the Arkadian Colonial Administration, Lorika Tek has upgraded the Musca (L) chassis that was originally developed for the IFN. The IFN acquired several interesting armor sets during a botched Smuggler raid on the IFN Supply Depot. Researchers concluded that the Smugglers were making efficient use of an easily accessible, low cost armour, so they reverse-engineered the unique "Moonshine" alterations that had been made. As a result, these newly "Adjusted" Musca sets have superior parameters compared to those of the original Blueprints, and are now compatible with the colony repair terminals. Due to ACA resource contstrains, these sets are only being issued to newly graduated colonists who have finished a term of "Discipleship" under more experienced members of the Arkadian community. If a disciple that was born on Calypso finishes thier discipleship on Arkadia will they get this set or adj Pixie please if anyone knows?
I think that the adj.musca is better balanced for young players. Musca got +4 stab at the cost of -3 Impact. It created much better protection against most low level Ark mobs - Tiarak, Oro, Hadraada, Ostelok. Even Oweko is possible - Pixie's "uber" impact is useless here, since it delivers none. Hey, it's even better against Atrox on Caly! And at the cost of 4 cold and 4 electric (no use for that little anyway) it got 8 burn - now newbies can hunt Oratans on Ark and bots on Caly - the most important storyline mobs of two planets. EDIT: yeah, I'll gladly trade my Adj.Pixie for an Adj.Musca any moment
Adj pixie have worse stats if you ask me, adj pixie is all over the place adj musca have the types that counts and both have 35 total protection. same durability and TT But if anyone would like to change adj musca (F) for adj pixie (F) let me know I'll do a trade any time...
Agreed, the stats on this musca are better, looks 10x better also! And same for me, if anyone wants to trade me (M) adj musca for (M) adj pixie, I'm down. Have several of the parts to tier 1+ now. Sadly, I don't think anyone will take our offers, we will probably have to buy a set. Oh well... Lucky for Ark noobs they get to run around looking like a champ, compared to Caly noobs.
I would also like to trade my Pixie for Musca. Asked MA to make the new armor gift retroactive, since I am Ark born with pixie. See what they say about that.
