    Those are truly awful results so far. However, I might be able to help you improve your results 3% or so. I quickly jotted some numbers (scanner decay, overall decay & loot) and ran a comparison. The far two columns are w/ the scanner decay removed. Row 2 = sum of all results below.

    There's some debate whether scanner decay get compensated or not, but if it does not, then among low hp mobs like these, the extra 0.90 ped per mob adds up a LOT more in percentage terms.

    Playing John Zorn can never go wrong and that's why I am going to see him live in Warsaw in a little over two weeks. Woot!

    I see and know what you mean John. I do however for some unexplainable reason like to use my scanner. Call it my will be become a scientist of a false hope that the scanning proffessions mean more then just that.
    When I put my first conclusion on paper scheduled for when I completed Stage 4 (~2400 of 4800) I'll also note the results with the scanner removed.

    This hunt is from earlier this week with the Castorian EnKnuckles-A. Maybe one more hunt coming next week and then I'm out and about till the first week of August.
    One more thing: I've retested the decay of the other three weapons after I realised that the EnKnuckles-1 decay was wrong on Entropedia. Mux-1 and EnKnuckles-A are both correct. On the Mux-2 I got a different decay, but that will come out at 688,65479..... total uses so I could likely be in error on that one.

    Comments: What determines my poor loot nearly everything is yet a secret to me. After I complete Stage 4 (kill 4800) I will do all kinds of calculations and see if there is something that will give a good correlation. Still ~1500 Halixes to go.

    Second one from yesterday, one with the EnKnuckles-A. After that I took a little break from this project and signed up for a free event to hunt Punies. It was fun, I ended at place 8 of at least 25 hunters. Kept on killing the Carabok and Gallard till 100 kills each and took the reward: in total a staggering 2 points of First Aid!

Those were done before the Mutated and for some reason I killed significatly more Halixes then then I do now. And I don't kill any Mutated so that can't be it.

    I've only done one hunt yestereve and it was good. I scored two mini's of ~7 PEDs first. Then I got to level 27 Brawler (Dmg). I couldn't have missed that when you look at the startlevel ofcourse. Brawler (Hit) may need three or four more hunts to tip over.

    With the two mini's I would have already gotten into a nice profit, but then I got what I haven't seen in weeks. A global! Nothing to grant, but it gives me a very good profit now. In fact, this is the best run to date!

    The best hunt is followed by the worst. There simply wasn't anything in the loot to speak of.
    Prior to this hunt I did a new decaytest on the Mux-2. The TT-value went from 27.50000 to 27,46122 (0.03878 decay). The lowest TT-value is 0,81936, giving 688 uses. I've updated Entropedia (they had 0.02877 decay), not yet looked at the Dmg/PEC of previous hunts with the Mux-2.

    I've also done a re-check on the Dmg/PEC of the Mux-2 due to the different decay. Most are done by 0,001; haven't changed that here.
