Credit card verification Issues

    First off, let me start by saying I love this game! I just started playing about 5 days ago and, up until now, everything has been wonderful.

    Here is my issue. I am using a prepaid rechargeable credit card to pay for my PED. Unfortunately, I am only limited to $50 total through this method until I can verify an 8 digit number from my first deposit. I called my prepaid card's customer service and spent over an hour trying to figure out this number, but it seems they just don't have it or can't get the information. I entered every and any 8 digit number they had through the transaction record, but none of them work to verify my account.

    So now I am stuck wanting to make another $26 deposit, but I cn't because I only have $15 left to deposit! I will not just deposit $15 right now because my credit card charges me $1 for every seperate transaction and I want to put $26 total into my account which equals 1 transaction fee instead of 1 now and 1 later, IF I can somehow get my limit lifted since I can not get the verification number that is needed.

    This is the ONLY credit card I have and I checked out the other payment methods available as a US resident and they are outrageous! A 25% fee AND the Mindark exchange fee is not going to happen. I hope something can be figured out here, or I may very well be pushed away from playing a game I am truly enjoying for the first time in ages!

    Please help! Snape, are you out there?! LOL

    I also submitted a support ticket through account support and am waiting patiently for that to resolve but am hoping for an answer or suggestion a bit quicker as I need to deposit asap. Thank you!

    I'm sorry mate theres nothing I can do to help you out here. Support isn't known for its speed of service and I don't live in the US so I cannot supply you with information on any viable alternatives at this time. However with the wonderful people we have have here, I'm sure someone who is a US resident will be along shortly to offer their 2 pec on the matter.

    The only thing I can tell you is that when I had to do this myself a while back, I had access to Netbanking with my CC supplier so finding the number code wasn't a problem for me, but i believe this also depends on what transaction information they choose to display as well.

    Lastly, there is rumour abound that MA are in negotiation with PayPal, but I cannot reliably confirm or deny this information at this stage.

    sort of same deal here... I use pre paid vanilla mastercard though and there is no way to verify and support hasn't replied to my ticket about how to verify if at all with pre paid. I was one of the lucky ones a few weeks back that had their account hacked through the Trion website and woke up to a stack of emails saying I had purchased a few hundred dollars worth of credits for the game Defiance...... nifty. so now I only use pre paid for anything online . so on my 2nd day ingame I am sitting here with a card ready to go but I am at my monthly limit.

    If you send support ticket, they will ask you for a copy of ID, copy of credit card, copy of utility bill and they will check it and then verify your credit card and will then have a 30000 PED credit limit.

    It took about 3 or 4 days for them to get the support ticket and was verified the next day after uploading the documents.

    Cut that card up, sounds like you got one that likes to charge a bunch of (avoidable) fees.

    You should get a Greendot card if you prefer to use pre-paid CC, as they won't charge you $1 for a transaction. I remember verification with greendot being fast also. Though I can't recall how I got the verification code, either by email or it was shown on the greendot app on my phone. Either way it's a matter of minutes, not days...

    Everytime I make a deposit I recieve a comfirmation-transaction number via e-mail. would this be what you need?

    Dunno know how prepaid cards work but is it possible to buy another one?

    Honestly I cannot remember now, it was awhile back. You only ever have to do the verification once (afaik). I have added and removed various cards over the past 2 years, and they have yet to ask me to verify again. As for where to find your confirmation number, you will have to read up on what exactly they are asking for and perhaps it is in your email. But I can't tell you what to look for, as I don't know what card you use or how it works.

    Yes you can buy/get a new one, I actually do this on a regular basis. With the monthly charge ($5 i think?), if no money is in the account for 2 months the balance goes negative $10. They stop charging the monthly fee at this point, since it costs the same amount to just get a new card. Obviously no one is going to pay -$50 to reload the card, when they can get a new one for $10 or in many cases for free. And besides that, the pre-paid cards have a much shorter expiration period than a normal CC would have, so its good to get a new one before it expires. Just watch for offers here and there, it is sometimes possible to get the card for free, if you order the card through a promotional offer or the like.

    I think i remember when i start deposit. I start with Master Card (not prepaid). After first pay i receive with my bank papers the 8 digit code (with Mindark word next to code). But Some time after Master Card start give problems and i change to other card. I see this card not give me 8 digit code, so i send a support case and Mindark upgrade my limit to 30000 ped/month.

    yup, I had the same issue. It all depends on what information YOUR BANK decides to put in your transaction history.
