The mining gear sneak preview

    I was just wondering if the mining gear we all own at this time will work on Arkadia?

    After seeing the sneak preview image it made me wonder why we would need new refiners or extractors or finders for that matter.

    All of your existing equipment will work on Arkadia.

    The new equipment on Arkadia has two functions, firstly to give Arkadia it's own identity and secondly to create new industry on Arkadia. So you can read into that, that there will be blueprints for that gear (apart from the refiners which will be in the TT).

    So the trade terminal will have arkadia content in it and not like next island or RT or calypso trade termnial stuff

    This is excellent, I can TP over and be ready to hunt. BUT:

    Will arkadia only stuff that I should be lucky enough to loot/but/craft work on Calypso?

    At this stage I believe that Arkadia gear will work on Calypso - it is the decision of each planet partner to block items. We have decided at this stage not to block items from any planets.

    That's a bit scary. Do you mean that at some point you might block all/some/new items for other planets?
    All my and many peoples unlimited gear is coming from other planets, and I'm afraid it's not gonna be easy to replace it fully with Arkadian unlimited items.

    Sorry, didn't mean to cause any distress - I have stated here on the forum before that I would only block items if they either imbalanced the economy massively, or they just didn't fit the theme. So no need to worry about any existing items within EU.

    What i saw from trailer, arkadia looks so different and so cool. It will be intresting to try arkadias mining tools :)
