With the latest VU, yet more stackables have been added to the loot pool. As a hunter or miner I need to keep them all in storage until I accumulate enough to sell. As a crafter I have a plethora of stuff to keep in storage to be used to craft various components and items. If I have a stock pile of item waiting to sell then they need to be stored also.

It is not possible to keep below the 500 item limit, despite the use of many containers. Each set of armour or plates gets it's own container. Clothes go in a container. Stockpiled weapons go in containers. However, as containers have weight limits, it is not actually feasible to keep most stackables in containers. And in any case it is a pain in the arse search through containers for the items I need.

Now I know you can actually keep more than 500 items in storage, it just affects the display and your ability to find stuff. But it's tedious to have to pull out a heap of items into my inventory, close and reopen storage, repeat etc, until I can find the things I need to access.

Two things could be done to alleviate this problem:
    1. Massively increase the storage limit - say to 2k items
    2. (preferred) implement a list based interface with a search bar and a column use for drag/drop.

I wouldn't even mind paying a fee to upgrade my storage. Not everyone needs the feature.

Please have a chat with MA about options, because the current situation is frustrating and only gets worse each time new stackables are added to the game.

I use pitbulls as storage boxes. It's annoying indeed. When the storage loads for the first time on certain sections a decent delay is noticeable. It would probably increase bigtime for 2k itemslots, yet the 500 limit is from the time calypso was the only planet around ;p

Wonder what they'll come up with for this one.

Which just proves its feasible. So why not implement within the main game interface?

Totally agree with Kikki. I find it incredibly frustrating with the amount of armour I have stored as backstock in my storage JUST on Caly! I've had to shift all my own personal stuff to Storage on Ark just so I can organise stuff properly. The storage interface is well overdue for an overhaul IMO.

    Sorry, that was my point.

I would love storage to be better implemented, and virtual tycoon demonstrates that they are able to. Didn't mean for it to come across as argumentative if it did.

MA is aware of this issue and has been working on a solution.
Look forward to the opportunity to purchase closets for your apartments!

    No, no.
    Is just a small joke.
