Hello everyone, I'm giving Entropia another try after a long absence. I was last here back in Beta days when it was called "Project Entropia" I think I left when my internet connection and/or puter specs started finding it a challenge. Anyway, I'm back now and am currently waiting while I download Planet Arkadia. It's my third attempt because the first 2 tries crashed at around the 70% mark for some reason. (Fingers crossed). In the meantime I've been getting to grips with avatar customization and other basic tutorials in the initial landing area. After reading about the three main occupations, I think I want to look at mining first. Anyway enough waffle from me. Hopefully see some of you around in-world. Oh, and I'm not a spammer...... Honest!
I recommend finding a mentor who can bring you up to speed and correct some of the "old" ways of thinking about the game, I'm currently available, or you can check some of the other threads over in the mentoring section of the forum. When you get in... welcome to Arkadia
Thanks for the warm welcome, guys. I managed to get the download to take and have started on the noob missions to reacquaint myself with the game. Once I've finished I'll definately follow your advice and seek out a mentor.
Thanks Puck. I'm already enjoying exploring around and getting my hoverpod destroyed by mobs. Reading the forum and various Entropia sites I can see there's LOADS to do and learn. I haven't even scratched the surface yet.

Thanks Cyborg. I haven't even looked at space travel and checking out the other planets yet. I hear space travel can be a dangerous business. Back when I was here last there was only Calypso I think. The changes and improvements since then are enormous.
