Hi, I've reinstalled onto a new machine and I have this error. Many older post have broken link... System is Win7 64 bit, 3dx already installed... Any hint?

In case anyone tries running EU on Windows 8, I had to install this on there, too. EU install usually runs the DX setup to begin with but for some reason didn't when I installed on Windows 8 Pro x64. I had this file from working on Entropia Mobile, so just ran it from there and tried running EU again and it worked after that. Just as an FYI.
I've been having this exact problem. Thank you for posting the link. Hopefully I can get my launcher to work soon now ^w^
