   The current default theme with its black background is horrible to look at and wipes out the text when seen from the front page (i.e. not in a forum thread but in an article thread).
   
   Basic usability says NEVER use a black background to pages.

   p.s. Arkadian Debris is what I use, maybe that could be the default.

   Thanks for the suggestion mobydick. Just letting you know, I've been working on another skin based on the default one but this new one will be darker text on lighter background, however it won't be ready for a little while yet.
