i actualy found this great program that cyles through backgrounds so i have quite a few. I DO NOT have desktop icons but i have like 28 icons off my taskbar as quicklaunch buttons.
@RexDameon, if you're using windows 7 it has a built in function to cycle between selected wallpapers. This here is my current wallpaper from the 10+ i have in cycle. Top left serves for my work space and bottom right for my game space. There used to be a lot more work related programs top left, not any more
yea i'm stuck with vista, but this program does even more then 7 because you can have it cycle through photo's and it will put them all over your desktop like poloroids it's pretty cool lots of options.

Nothing to laugh about, that's the way it should be. It always amazes me how some Windows users turn their desktops into launchbars . I see my desktop as a desktop, literallly - the place where you keep your documents while you work on them, and which you clean up after you finished. Well, my Windows doesn't get much love - after over 2 years since the last installation it still looks like freshly installed, because for me it's merely a launcher for Entropia, nothing there besides EU and associated utilities (ET Suite, Fraps, etc). All the other digital life goes under MacOS X, from where I have to reboot to Win7 every time I want to play. And under MacOS X it looks like this, featuring the most adorable robot in the history of cinema (ok, except maybe for WALL-E ) View attachment 3804
The one at home is a screen shot from that new explore calypso video someone made - the scene with the long necked mob with the moon behind. (entropia backgrounds are common for me). Will see if I can upload the work one. (nah failed,... maybe needs to be a jpeg)
