Cannot re-enter Lvl 1 instance

A bit way through I hit enough Raktas to complete the mission, so I was close enough to start to go out, and get mission reward and come back in.

When I came back it said I needed a key (and the mssg in parenthisis that said it wouldn't be removed, etc etc..).

I didn't have a key on me so I went and got another one, repaired it and returned figuring it was some glitch...

It did same message but this time took the new key and reset timer (and mobs I found out later).

So the way I see it, someone owes me 25 ped for a lvl1 key (or just the key as there's MU and who knows what it adds up to).


Should prolly fix that message too.

So you finished the instance. Left. Then tried to come back and it said you need a key so you got one. It took it and started a new instance. Now you want a refund cause it took the key for a new instance after you finished the previous one? Am I missing something here or are you .....

I understand he left instance before finish for take reward for Rakta mission, then try return instance he started.

 

Am pretty sure an instance will end once all players exit. Not that I plan to test it. So if you are doing it solo...

 

Totally missing something...I just started it, I didn't finish it.

@ Kikki: It says it will end 10 minutes after all players exit, I was back well within ten minutes.

10 minutes timer is for reloging inside ( if servers dont crash , if crashed you loged in front of door and can expect TT refund later )

you can leave and return only if there is any other player still inside
if you are solo and you left there is no way back

The wording suggested that;
a.) I would be able to leave to the same instance and come back - no mention of being solo or not.
as long as
b.) I did so within 10 minutes.

That's what prompted my bright idea to be efficient and go out and cash in the mission/grab next level so as not to "waste" so many more mobs on a mission already completed. (too bad the mission broker is ferking bugged... :/ )

Hey, I'm not a cheapskate...Well, I pretty much am...So if I felt I goofed, I'd eat 25 ped no prob.
But the way the in game wording is, uh...Worded, it misled me to go out, find a FUBAR in the mission broker, then FUBAR me again out of completing the only instance that WOULD'VE given me that 1st ATH on an instance! (I SHOULD be asking for 10k+ ped instead of a measley 25 ped lvl 1 key, but I am cool like that...)


Side note:
Odd numbers cocerning the mob numbers in relation to the missions as it seems designed to waste mob kills, but that's a different discussion...

Just FYI - My timer and team rank windows were still on whilst I ran to broker and back (and back to storage again and back).

Gotcha I just misread it. Sry to hear bout the issue. Seems all instances are having problems lately. I was always wondering bout if you leave if you can really return or will it get bugged. Guess I got my answer :/ Hope it gets sorted.

I would be writing directly to Cyrus or Dave to get them to explain if system working as designed but misleadingly worded or there is a bug. That would give some basis for extracting a refund from MA.

Yes but there is something to be said for a more direct approach when you are aiming for a particular outcome.

 

Just letting everyone know of the bug or whatever I experienced.

No need to PM and not let others know what happened to me, ya know?

Transparency is best in this case...One of the few things I still like about this forum (at least in this case).

Question about this were you solo in this instance? Did you create your own team then enter the instance then disband the team then leave the instance?

I know you can disband teams in the instance and all is good and instance still does the split based on damage at the end etc, but if you do and a person leaves they are unable to get back into the instance because they are no longer part of a team. This had happened to person in one of my teams we entered the instance they quit my team then exited the instance for some reason than wanted to get back in, it was only a few seconds from time he left to time he wanted back in, not real sure what he was doing but I think you need to be in a team whenever entering an instance. I re-added him to team via FL and he was able to enter again.

I've even had people come in on the instance late and run to where we were after the instance was started they just needed to be added to the team before they could enter.

I just leave myself in a team even when doing them solo you still get your split at the end no reason ever to leave the team once inside really. All team settings seem to be ignored but are requirement to enter the instance even after you leave, and I really don't want to waste a key to test this myself, I always leave my team active even when solo in instances.

 

I was solo, made a team then disbanded (dunno why). Once I couldn't get in, it said I had to be in team so I made one (same name) but no good.

The wording seems to have misled me.
