i would love to discuss some of the issues raised in the last few posts but at the moment the thing that really matters is the broker.
it is now thursday, the broker was meant to work on tuesday, which was the last communication from the dev team, silence does not create confidence
the broker is not a new system, its been operational on calypso for quite some time, i do not understand this delay, if it was my investment in entropia i would be on the phone and escalating this up the food chain until someone in a position of power within MA was as annoyed as i was
this is how one normally presses suppliers into action?
just a ETA would be nice you know?

 

I think last thing I heard is that Dobson is trying to get them turned on. It's up to MindArk, so they don't really have any control over it. They know about it, they just don't have much they can say about it right now. Dobson did say that he can't give an ETA, though. Hopes to have it resolved tomorrow and will try to find a way to create demand for Arkoins.

Hi Guys,

We have been working with MA during the week to see what can be done to enable the brokers without requiring a partner VU and will keep you guys informed on progress during next week.
MA balancing team has discovered a potential exploit with the brokers given the correct circumstances and due to this they can not currently enable the brokers without developing a fix for it.

Cyrus and the events team is currently working on something they will announce in a few hours time to keep you entertained while the brokers are offline.

Thx for the update Chris gotta say Ateam goes for good to better by the day MA has alot to learn .
Bit suprised MA didnt c this sooner as they should have had this info for quite some time.
Hehe if they succed in putting up a nice event to keep us al occupied it will be just another reason to why we are al here on ark

I did talk to David earlier and he asked me to pass on that it is like 2 am in Singapore and that they will announce it tomorrow, their time. There is apparently some event coming that will help demand for the Arkoins, pending the brokers being turned on. Go A-team.

You were the person who was globaling every 5 minutes in the Instance lvl 3 (when Arkoins are hot) during the Arkoin's event to win the Top Prize the Computer)! This could have only been possible by cheating and running the wall as I know myself it takes a 25 Minutes longer! You had 20 globals in less then a few hour's and I kept a log of your progress. Disgrace..full! tutut

 

I can beat your 25 min easily with a rocket launcher and a p5a fishface good guy, don't slander

Please don't insult what I know to be the truth.

 

A lot of player's made use the open wall for a quick fix but the ones who claimed a prize for using a cheat guess that is acceptable.

 

Ms princess, you are new to the forum and I recommend you familiarize yourself with the forum rules (link).

 

I became an adviser when the adviser program first started.

I am the one who found and reported the wall to the A-team so that they can fix it. Then I ran a very large number of instances in every way possible, with every gun possible, sometimes killing every mob, sometimes killing part, sometimes killing none, and taking screenshots of the final result stats page each time to calculate the formula used to determine loot.
Using this formula, it is easy to show that not only is the running of the wall not beneficial, it is actually counterproductive, because you buy ammo at TT price, but you pay MU on each key, and that MU is not diluted by adding the TT of the ammo spent into the loot pool.
Then I bought about a trillion Arkoins on the auction at 200-220% MU by orders to purchase my wife a good computer at a nice price and at the same time support the event, since there was virtually nobody else buying Arkoins at the time.
This is also the same way that both of the other winners got so many Arkoins so quickly.
If you do simple math, you can see that in order to acquire 300k Arkoins in 8 hours, it would mean that you need to have 37500 Arkoins per hour. From there it's a simple deduction that certainly the winners purchased the Arkoins.

I appreciate your concern for the integrity of the event, but surely you should have PM'd me if you had any concerns.
