Hello Arkadia forums! Basically me and a friend have recently started playing Entropia Universe. We both wish to travel to Arkadia as we have heard that planet Arkadia is a lot more newbie friendly! First we have a few questions: How do we get to planet Arkadia from planet Calypso? Which is more economical to use on Arkadia, BLP or laser? Will our calypso items work on arkadia?
Hello. Travel to Ark is easy. you can get a lift with someone. cost around 5ped just ask around in game or some nice player may fly you for free or you can purchase a quad space craft attach a thruster and some oil and fly yourselfs here. ( easier first time get a lift ) All Entropia Universe Items work on ALL planets. or yes your caly items will work on ark as for economical blp or laser. ill leave that for another player to answer (i believe they are all balanced out the same at the end of the day, but thats just my opinion Have fun hope to see ya both soon on Ark
Hi Willo, To get to another planet you will need to travel by space capable ship - mothership, privateer, quadwing, vtol. You can book passage on one of the first two. They can equip a warp drive and can get you quickly and usually safely to your destination. You can hire a pilot. You can buy a ship, a thruster (to get to and from space) and some oil for fuel and fly yourself and your friend. Please be aware there are pirates in space who want to shoot you down and if they can then they can loot any "stackables" you are carrying. Thats items in the Materials or Mined Resources tabs of your inventory. So if you want to bring those with you its probably a smart move to book passage on a warp capable ship. The convential wisdom is that for low levels, laser is more eco (in terms of damage per pec) than blp but that at higher levels the balance shifts to blp. You will find that the TT weapons of either variety are quite eco compared to Calysto low level weapons. All Calypso gear works on Arkadia just fine. Regards, KikkiJikki

While this is true about Arkadia that all items will work there. this is not true for ALL planets/areas. For example Next Island has an Ancient Greece area that you can only use certain items. I think "The THING" on Rocktropia also limits what items you can use also. Also be aware that when traveling through planets it is PVP lootable. Meaning that you can be killed and loose stackable materials from your inventory. So travel with only tools, weapons, armour not crafting materials. OR take a mothership. Normadie is quite a fun and different experience i prefer to travel by mothership.

And at Arkadia there is several shops selling arkadia stuff - In my shop (see my sigi) you can get low level gear for less than auction price.
I made it to Arkadia thanks to Greenleaf. I've done all the newcomer missions and they were a really great introduction to Ark. So far I've found that the community on the planet is really great, and the sweat group isn't just a bunch of AFKers. now I plan to complete the mentor system.
