Hello all, My girl friend and I recently joined the game, and did not full research beforehand. We had read the official site saying that travel between planets was easy, so chose Calypso as our starter planet. After playing a bit and reading more on the game we feel that Arkadia will be a better fit for us. Can someone suggest the best way to get there? It seems most of the offers for a ride on the forums are dated, as are some of the guides online. Just want to find a safe way to move in a decent amount of time. We have been active and playing daily, and are working on playing efficiently, but are still pretty new. Any help would be appreciated, even if just a link. Thanks in advance, Tulgarath
safe way, so are you gonna carry stackables? If not any quad should do good, but if safe means carry stackables then any mothership or privateer should be good. Mothership thats come up in my mind is: Dreadnought Normandie (both do regular trips Caly > Ark) Privateers: Smoerble got one Bjorn another (know several others but these players spend alot of time on Ark)
Hi and welcome here in Forum....a lot player from Arkadia fly on a regulär basis to calypso for trades and other things ..sometimes they take passengers back to ark ..even for free or a small fee....easiest way is to get in touch with one of them here....coz then you can be sure it is a serious offer........when you find a pilot ..make sure to empty your inventory from all stackables...(loot/ore/enmatter)...coz space is lootable pvp zone and you can loose it when you get killed...all other items are safe....wish you luck for your way to Ark and hope to meet you soon....feel free to get in touch with me when you arrive
Thanks all. Guess we need to find a pilot, I see people shouting in Twin Peaks, I think it is, and wasn't too sure it was reliable. Is storage usable across planets, or is it planet specific? If it is, what happens to an auctions you may have on your old planet? Just curious.
Hello & welcome. By far the safest and fastest method, assuming that you have stackable items you wish to take with you, would be to pay for a ride on one of the motherships such as the Kronan or Normandie which offer regular warp flights between the planets. http://kronan-service.info/ The 2nd option (as you may have already seen) is to buy a vehicle such as a Quad-wing Interceptor, fit a Space Thruster to it and fly yourself there (it can carry two people) or pay someone else to take you in a similar vehicle. Pilots often advertise their services at Twin Peaks or here on forums. Be aware you would be much more vulnerable to pirates and therefore run a much higher risk of losing any loot you are carrying. auction and storage are tie to the planet they on so if you leave auction or storage items on caly you cant get to them again till you go back

Just wanted to say thank you to Neil Greenleaf Stockton. He met up with my GF and I and flew us to Arkadia. I really did not expect such a quick reply and help.
