I just wanted to Say hi and get a presence in the forum. I started playing Entropia just a few days ago. I am always looking to meet new people and make new friends. I did the starting mission on arkadia and been mostly sweating since then.
Hi and welcome MasterTreetop ...hope you have fun here on Arkadia ..if you have questions feel free to ask around in Celeste Quarry for a Adviser ...you have to know we have a great Community here
Welcome to Arkadia! While you're sweating, take some time to read the Story of Arkadia (link). If you ever need advice, help, rescue, TP run, etc. feel free to contact me. You can find me in the player register in game. Hope to see you in game and have fun exploring!
Welcome to Arkadia and to the forum. As the others said above, feel free to ask for any help you need and good luck to you on Arkadia
Welcome to Entropia. Take your time and learn as much as you can before puting your hard earned money into the game. Make sure you get a reputable mentor just ask around the Quarry for a recomendation. Feel free to add me "RexDameon rex Andreosn" to your friend list through the registry and "RexDameon Andreosn" on Facebook too if you got some questions feel free to send me messages. Also my site has some useful links (and hopefully will be better when i get some time to finish the update i'm working on) http://home.cogeco.ca/~rexdameon/ I recommend Alice's Guide , Entropedia, the Skill Scanner to track your skill gains, Little Big mining log if your gonna start mining get that working first, and EntropiaTracker / Entropia Life is fun too.
Welcome MasterTreeTop! I second most of what RexDameon said about Alice's guide, entropedia, etc Its also worth finding a society for companionship, help and extra advice over and above what your mentor might give.
Howdy Mastertreetop! Welcome to Arkadia. Have fun exploring and don't be afraid to chat any of us up.
Thank you all for the help, i will have to check out the guides and skill scanner/mining tracker soon. I did have 1 question, dunno if this is the right place to post it, but any tips for selling sweat? I sold 3k sweat almost instantly the first time i tried it, but since then It seems as if no one wants to buy it. i sit at the tp in celeste quarry and put out the message "selling sweat 2.5k/ped at tp" and no takers, is there a more effective way or does it just take a ton of patience?
Quite often it takes a lot of patience, and sometimes it's about the day of teh week or the time of the day and whether those who use MF are active that day or not. Sometimes I would check to see and then go back to sweating if there were no takers at a given time.
For selling sweat I'd recommend getting buyers on your friend list. Then you can see when they are around, and save yourself sitting on your hands waiting for someone to answer.
Also, check out crafters at the quarry and at Celeste Harbor (5 crafting locations there). The higher level furniture BPs take a lot of sweat (10k per crafting attempt).
One thing i've been trying to encourage Normadie Radio is if they DJ is sitty at quarry that new players can listen in and it will be annouced if there are sweat buyers. Keep sweating though dont even worry about selling it until you have boat loads of it. Dont think of sweating as working for sweat either think of it as skilling for free. I turn off all msgs and just have skill gains showing when i sweat cause i'm doing it just for skills. I always recomend people to get 200 Evade by sweating then sell your sweat in a big huge pile and you will have some more skills that will give you an economic advantage when you hunt later (if your planning on hunting) cause you will get hit less (less first aid tool decay less armour decay)
Welcome to the Madness we all call home. Heed the advise put to you in this thread as there is alot of valid information given. Even the part for Normandie radio. Might add that announcement to the show when I am on Rex to help pass info to new players when a buyer is in quarry during my show. Anyway EU is a different game and does require a fair amount of effort as nothing comes free in this world. Be prepared to have good days AND bad as we all do. The secret to sucess is how you manage the bad.
Do any of you guys know of sweat buyers (or if you wanted to buy some yourself) that I could add to friend list, or would it be better to post an ad in the selling section of forum?
Its probably best to get with the crafters hangin at quarry and sanctuary cove auction house and build reputation with them as sweat is needed for more and more bp's thanx to David and the A Team
