I run and run and run dropping probes treasure hunting. Every so often (can't really put a time or distance to it but say.... every 30-45 minutes I notice an "Arrival Safe" type of blue halo around my avatar for split second or sometimes it a ball of fire around my avatar. Once I notice that split second of animation (doesn't last for more than maybe 1 second) I try to bomb for treasure and get "Could not execute. Please try again." message. I normally have to TP away in order to bomb again. This happens in the middle of no-where.... NOT near TP's/cities/outposts. I am unable to bomb for ANY ores/en-matters/treasure. Anyone else getting this problem? Menace
that bubble is when you cross a server line, and been happening but whats "new" is your tool gets unusable. A friend told me he had to re-equip the finder to be able to use it again after crossing a border
Same. Every time when crossing server borders yellow line with "could not execute.." shows up. Only solution is, unequip and equip finder again.
If you want to read some history about why you get the halo when you cross server boundaries, here it is http://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/f...me-history&highlight=server+boundaries+mining But it sounds as if the need to re-equip is a new bug. In the light of my other campaign for MA to fix the bug when switching Finders, I'm happy to take the credit for getting MA to fix the server boundary bug, which was costing miners lots of Ped every day. (especially as MA didn't compensate me the 150 Ped of my losses).
Thank you for the assist, Jenny... I re-logged three times yesterday to resolve this issue on server borders. Didn't realise I could fix it with an un-equip / re-equip.
