None of those 3 issues have anything to do with selling TT items at MU in auction (or private sale for that matter).

It's not set, it's dynamic, the auction formula is
so it tends to 0.5 with low values of margin. MA could easily adjust the formula by replacing 99.5 with, say, 99.99, making 0.01 ped the minimal fee, but apparently they don't want to cut down such a stable influx to the lootpool, since they insist that all fees go back to the lootpool and not into their pocket (and if that's not true then it makes lower fees unlikely even more).

on the other side this is also a reason that new people to entropia need a good mentor to teach them these things. Sometimes them loosing a PED can get them to start taking advice and learning instead of just thinking they can do it all on there own and make more mistakes get pissed off and leave...

Sometimes i find thats the hardest thing is to convince new players that they need help.

Even worse, I noticed that some people don't believe in help, thinking it's a trick. Not once a guy in rags refused a free transportation in fear of being dumped in the middle of danger (maybe not without a reason).

In a game where one needs to spend real cash, and all the scams, it isn't uncommon for players to play on the side w caution, and very often a lot of that.

The RCE model in this game isn't designed to encourage players to spend a few ped at a time, but rather, a few hundred and even thousands. While this may not be seen as an issue for old experience players, it is a major issue for young and new players, where their PED budget is still within double digits.

I think I can safely say that in most cases, people are used to paying 10-20 USD per month to play a game, but not hundreds. Now add that on top of the in game scamming/pirates. :surrender:

If a tt item is in the auction for a little MU I tend to look at the item to see why. Usually its tiered or has high tier rates or in the case of BP's you see QR above 0. Now back when the second greedy age started ( AKA SGA) people were thowing tt opalos up for 400 ped in hopes someone not knowing or paying attention was thinking they were getting an SGA opalo. Same when someone hits big on a low level BP a few pop up in auction to see if someone thinks they may be that lucky bp that hit big. I have seen some predominant names in the game who have been here long time doing this stuff. I think I still have a few screenies of their names of what they put in auctions like that.

Im surprised we have not got the BS excuse yet .."Thats just someone getting ped to a friend who plays at a different time" like we got on the old Entropia forum when these guys got busted pulling this stuff.
