Sooo..... since the mini update that there are no patch notes for , I see that the Hoverpod MK1 has been nerf'd some. It barely crawls up vertical mountains now. Would be really nice to know about this kinda stuff. I was so happy that I found something to do in between depo's ...now that has been taken away Was fun while it lasted. - A sad Bemo -
That is indeed sad news... I when I first saw the new H-Pods someone was using the slopes around the Quarry as a kind of skatepark. Climing almost to the top, then racing down to launch off the next obstacle doing backflips. I was excited to get one. Thanks for the info tho, I gave up on finding any patch notes... We can only hope this error will be corrected expediently and expeditiously.
Maybe a forum moderator could move this to the dev feebback or bug report corner? I doubt it's intentional
This is very interesting, we didn't do anything to nerf the hoverpods and MA say they didn't touch it. I'll do some more testing to find out. I must say they were never meant to drive straight up a cliff or buildings, but rather were designed to be great hill climbers which they are. I'll drop by the Quarry tomorrow, maybe someone can lend their pod to do a test in the live environment. Dave
Just let me know what time. I have done hours of hill climbing in them. Mk3 climbs them like the mk1 use to. -Bemo-
