Unless the market is flooded and they're all sold at once it'll probably end up just like the booths. Or we'll get people buying them as quick turn around / relist investments and they'll all stand empty.
So cynical. In the interviews, Dave mentioned options such as: - release a lot but set a SB so the market doesnt see a huge drop in MU - control the number released to minimise impact on MU. And I thought the booths scenario worked out pretty well. Only one bought purely for resale potential. 5 owners attempted to make a go of it and all subsquent changes in ownership appear to be to dedicated crafters. I just wish they had released a few more. I was wondering are they planning on putting all the apartments in Celeste Harbour up for bidding or will they stop putting them up when they see demand has fallen off, not sure if it will but it is a possibility? I know they placed a map on the front page of where all the apartments are but was just wondering if they will run through them all or stop when demand falls? Be nice to know if the ones I want to bid on will become available during this round of releases or not. I would like to get in on this round of releases either way. Thanks.
My understanding was that they'll release ~200 apartments and 16 shops this time around. So imagine they'll probably do like they're doing now. Though the shops in auction now will probably be the last ones until the planet shows some growth (we're up to shop 16 on auction right now, I think).
Heard from reliable source that it will be much less then 200 being there are only 192 apartments in Celeste Harbour and they are not going to release them all this time around. I am not sure if you were including the Sanctuary Cove apartments that Hawkwing can sell or not. I was told not to count on getting that specific apartment you want in Celeste Harbour this time around as it may not come up in auction so if you want an apartment this time around you should get a bid in soon.
If there is sufficient demand we will auction all the apartments in Celeste Harbour. We'll also be mixing up which apartments are put on auction, won't all be whole blocks in next rounds.
Yes, thanks for the clarification. KMax: I said he mentioned ~200 (approximately), and 192 is right there close. Just figure out how many buildings there are and multiply that number by 6 to see how many apartments are available.
