Has MA ever stated the log off "tactic" was abuse? anywyas glad there are pirates out there otherwise why would anyone use a mothership. i know me i'll always use a mothership when traveling

Log off tactic IS NOT ABUSE of the system. MA has no way to control if a person logs off or gets accidentally disconnected. They have to allow the avatar to timeout and allow them to relog in, they can't force avatars to stay logged in if they are inside a mother ship. What if the person's machine crashes or there is brief internet outage in persons area, they can't detect if it was natural or if someone unplugs a cable it all looks the same to a server, not response from client. It is just as easy to unplug or force quit a program as logging off so it would be pointless to even care if they log off. It has to be handled the same so they have a chance to relog in. So this is not a defect in the game, it is not abusing the system, reasons have nothing to do with if it is ethical there is no physical means to effectively control this so it has to be allowed.
