For me? I've learned many many lessons in playing EU. Here are just a few: I have learned: 1) To trust in people I cannot see or touch. 2) To listen instead of talking in certain situations. 3) That a micro-economy can be enlightening and thought provoking. And 4) There are "bad apples" in every community...Try to spot them and stay clear. What have YOU learned? ~Isc~
Just because you don't agree with someone doesn't make them wrong there is no right way to play entropia there are real people behind the avatar Bugbear
Yes..but there is a WRONG way to play...I think we've all seen our fair shares of that. And the "REAL" people...those are usually the good ones in my experience. :hail:
Patience can be a huge asset in this game and life. Usually when I become inpatient in the game it doesn't turn out so well.
Yes...Patience is another lesson I too am learning. I think patience is something to be "practiced" like being a doctor or an attorney.
I dont think i've learned a lot other then more of how supply and demand can effect real markets and understand gas prices better. I think the real amazing thing is the practical thinks i know from real life can be applied here and how it really works sometimes better then real life. Things like honesty, generosity, sympathy actually can pay off in the end. I've never role played in Entropia i've always been just like i am in real life. To be honest it actually works more to my advantage here then in real life. I get stabbed in the back by the people i try to help out more in real life then the people i try to help out in Entropia. I've had an absolute amazing experience with this game from starting out and being taken under the wings of ubers, meeting people like NEVERDIE before they were famous and watching all the people that have made Entropia a lifestyle and way of life, MA sending me and my wife to 2 Game Industry shows, and now 8 years later i'm still having fun teaching new people and seeing what happens next. So in summary i've learned how a virtual world can not be so virtual after all.
I have learned to not TT stuff better than 103% because you give away pure cash to mindark but mindark never give you anything in return really
To never risk anything I'm not willing to lose To always check the loot settings when a "newbie" has made the team.
