Due to requirements for security standards, new rules for deposits with Payment cards will be set. European participants will be asked to use 3-D Secure for card deposits. This technology is an international security standard used by most VISA and MASTERCARD card issuers. The 3-D Secure technology is known as "Verified by VISA" and "MasterCard SecureCode" respectively: If you have a VISA card, find more information on Verified by Visa: https://usa.visa.com/personal/security/vbv/index.jsp (America) or http://www.visaeurope.com/EN/CARDHOLDERS/VERIFIED_BY_VISA.ASPX (International) If you have a MASTERCARD find more information on MasterCard SecureCode: http://www.mastercard.com/us/personal/en/cardholderservices/securecode/index.html If your card requires 3-D Secure and you plan on making a deposit in the coming weeks - to avoid possible issues, due to 3-D Secure - you can consider making your deposits before this change. Interesting, they already started using the 3D secure thing some time back, I remember the first depo made after that change you had to do online instead of ingame, and afterwards could carry on doing it ingame as well. So, curious now how this is any different, especially since they didn't actually specify what it means to us in terms of ingame or online required. Not planning a depo right away but if anyone does and gets a idea what this means, hopefully will post to tell us, unless MA decides to re issue a message that specifies lol.
Sounds to me this 3D Secure thing has had it's problems that forced them to redo it, or why make the same statement all over again? (and no not MA but the VISA/Mastercard people) European participants will be asked to use 3-D Secure for card deposits. (check the link in the OP)
