I am troubled at mu of items on auction for this planet.
Example enhancers 500-750 percent mu cheapest, compared other planets 275 percent.
Weapons 150 to 200 percent , no good armour at all on auction.
Can list lot more but get point.

Planets are far from each other now , so good planet economy needed.
I have been selling all gathered resourses below mu to help crafters and
have seen others do as well.
But not seen lower mu change on auction.
Is it just greed or the none understanding that if charge high mu drives cost up on resourse gathering also.

So I am asking please all stop the greed so planet can thrive.

No other planet has development team that responds as fast as here.
But they can not do it alone players must help, so please think is all I ask.

I get your point but this is a situation created by the players themselves. Problem is that even with a MU as high as the examples you mention people are actually buying. If no one bought the item s at those MUs the sellers would have to lower their prices.
Get in contact with anyone connected to a mothership, use some time travelling to Calypso, get the gear you need and head back.
Once back on Ark you have 2 options. Either you use what you got at Caly or you put it on auction with a MU below current just to meet your expenses and that way force a new balanced price level into the system.

There really isn't anything else that can be done about it. The game is about real money and most people will try to make an extra buck if possible.

MU is a huge problem for Arkadia. I really don't know how we can stop it other than, DO NOT BUY overpriced stackables! Always undercut the re-sellers!
I think we have at least a few months before space travel becomes more frequent again.

The problem is stuf that we cant get on Arkadia - will always be high. And when it comes to damage enhancers - then it is a big problem that Pyrite isnt found at Arkadia (give us our own damage enhancers) - or do we need a pvp area to be able to loot it?

On the other hand - i see no reason to sell anything on auction that has a very low demand = low price.

MU is a problem in any online game. The players that do this tend to be greedy. In eve online the way that i have worked around this problem was to talk directly to ppl willing to give a decent markup on items/material. I.E. joe smith is making runs to a certian planet where u know that items sell way cheaper offer him 25-50% over that market value then use the items or resell them with a small MU of mabye 25-50% so you dont get screwed and ppl still have what they need. There is always a way around the greedy ppl

50% MU is not small. I think for most people and for most items, that would fall under the category of "greed".

Arkadia need stationary resellers building up a supply buffert. A majority of the items today, non stackables, for sales at ark is transported here from other planets and has added price on them. The items constructed at Arkadia are more expensive as well due to the core components on arkadia are selling at high mu, this on the other hand is happening due to no supply buffert being in place.

There is also a lot of stuff with low or none mu due to it having no apparent use at the moment. Arkadia has a unbalanced economy and keeping resellers away would make it stay that way or completely die.

I don't know what enhancers you are comparing, but i sell damage enhancers for about 575 %, on Calypso maybe the price is about 500-520 %, so the diffrent is not that big. Enhancers are expansive because how the crafting system on them work, they are a bit diffrent from other crafting. And i sell a gun for 120 % markup, so is not all high mu stuff.....

incredibly valid statement. Please read this before you all hate a player buying products and selling other products.

If you come on here and declare every player is bad ect.. just think about the consequences if nobody is on this planet to buy or sell.

I know personally I have spent a lot of ped buying over inflated priced items on this planet. I hope my peds have helped those players well. And to the people saying they are bad, or greedy. No, time will even out the economy.. the only thing that will kill it. is if the players leave...

You all should encourage competition, not hate on it.

I would much rather have the choice to buy a item, even at a super inflated MU to make a product thats needed or demanded. Than to have no ability to buy because there is no oppertunity for a trader to slip in and profit.

Without a trader profitting, you have no trader. Without high mark ups / demand for products you don't have traders.

Its a give and take. I understand most people want what they want. And they want it now. Well nobody is saying you cannot get these materials yourself like many posts have pointed out. Its the time and stockpiles availible that make a mark up.

    With time everything evens out.

I agree with the post that players control the MU in auction, and state IF IT IS TO HIGH, DON'T BUY. I know it is frustrating but it is their stuff after all and they can ask whatever price they want for it, you always have the choice to go get the stuff yourself. The ridiculous high priced auction listing people will loose in the long run and just feed the auctioneer PED for posting non-sense priced items that never sell.

As long as people are buying at those prices then the MU is at the right price even though you do not think so.

Don't expect MA or PP's to do anything they are making money on those ridiculous auctions that never sell.

If you want more reasonable prices spend a lot of time in trade channel asking for the items you need sometimes you find a person that has a much better price then in auction. I know there are a few people that make trips every other day between Ark and Calypso on trading runs and they sometimes (most times actually) offer much better prices and trades then the auction house does. You just need to find them.

A good example is the Carabok Hide that is/was on auction for 1300%... the hide was still moving like crazy at 3-400% and lower. Last I saw, that 1300% one still hadn't even had a bid on it.

In the end this has always happened in the past and it will always happen in the future. Best way to deal with it is don't buy, be happy they paid auction fees, and wait till the markup drops. In a few months times most leathers will be at 110% or lower just wait with crafting till then :)

not hunters ,more mobs are needed
now there is too much hunters specialy for 1 carabok spawn
+ 4 caraboks at each academy
but that may be only now when texuring is released

nahh.. its gonna stay a problem.. Cause its the Ark skill-up BP.. And there's probably going to be IFN missions for them too, someday, and then it will just get worse.. I've already talked to Dobson about the spawn problem.. Hope he reads here that I'm not the only one having that observation..

Well after feedback on subject I see how some of my play style feeds problem.
I rely on auction for resupplies and dam tired having to go caly for restock because of price.

Problem fix, need to get more social with crafters one on one.
Find thier needs help them inturn help me.

Another problem found , I fill lots auction orders under mu
Found that I am selling to same players that are over charging for crafted items (Not All That Place Orders )

Basicly realized , resourse gathers and crafters need deal one on one for now.
And let high resellers burn them self's on auction fee's.

Everyone has there place in the universe.

The more we can fill this universe with more players, the more options we will have. When we have more options the high price goods tends to go away as the oppertunity to sell at those prices goes away.

Things are getting better on planet. Supply and demand will always shift with big updates, and then with time move back to a more normalized level.
