Wouldn't selling directly to crafters have the same effect? Either way, it's an increase in supply with no corresponding increase in demand....
big hits like this are the system compensating both the player for loss to balance that 90% thing AND to keep up with the use of a material that has been diminished thru crafting or tt'ing in some cases. Selling direct to a crafter is a private trade and has no effect on MU trends in the tracking. Therefore the player can sell at same MU or whatever deal is made and not flood the normal day to day market thus lowering the established percieved value. Which in turn puts a whack on an already struggling economy. Gah this was a reply to neil I hit the reply and not reply with quote again.
