Well For sure To'an Havir would have to be played by Patrick Stewart. ANY space captain MUST live up to his standards. For Sundari Zhen I would go with Rachol Nichols the redhead from GI Joe movie. Milton Lee HAS to be played by Jim Parsons who plays Sheldon on The Big Bang Theory. LT Moshane.. have to get back on this not enough about him yet LT Chan...same. Ill have to lok around. Captain Chiharo would have to go to Dina Meyers simply because of teh Starship Troopers refrence in the story.

OK so far I have these. Julianne Moore might be to old for the role of Sundari, but she even looks like her a bit . Louis Gossett Jr. is an actor I always liked since Iron Eagle and he can be a great angry captain I think. Great start to this thread everyone! It would be really good if you could attach some photos as well. Always nice to see a face with a name as some of us aren't all that good with actors names. He's an awesome bad guy (Zorg in "The 5th Element", the hijacker in "Air Force One"), but also holds himself in comedy (He was on "Friends", is great in "Interstate 60" and "Nobody's Baby", not to mention the utterly hilarious "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead"), and does great serious work as well ("Immortal beloved" as Beethoven and "Sid and Nancy" as Sid Vicious). Michelle Yeoh as Sundari maybe...? I'm a bit behind now.... I need to get back to the story some before being able to call this. Gary oldman does look like a good choice for the chap in charge though.
Certainly is interesting to know who you want to be casted for the movie. It gives us an inkling of what you perceive the characters to look like. Keep them coming!
I gotta go RL here Gong Li "The Empress Dowager" and Story theme's similar to Akira Kurosawa's in movies with immense power such as 'Seven Samurai' ... Plots involving bumbling cowardly fools discovering themselves against chivalrous Samurai/Warriors finding redemption. Perhaps there is some parodies and similarities to be found Cheers Xaph
